We had heard great things about this place. Went for lunch one day and decided on the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and side salad. worst steak I've ever had. absolutely no seasoning and paper thin. The gravy was like water with a little flour mixed in. No seasoning at all and so thin is just soaked into the steak breading. Gravy thin as water. i stopped this morning on my way home to Mckinney tx. This place is great, it's small, but very clean and just a friendly place to stop for some home cooking.
my breakfast was excellent, I think I was the youngest customer in the place (63). I will be stopping again, remember if the locals like it then it's a great place..
I really enjoy the atmosphere and the breakfast! Their menu is very “cowboy”. The service is always good!
