Farm Luck Soda Fountain & Dry Goods

I gave the food a 3 because even though it wasn't bad, it wasn't anything special either. The service was as anything should be and wasn't over the top so gave it a 4. Atmosphere was decorated but not very much. I could put it all together in less then 30 minutes. I dont hate the Place but nothing sticks out enough to make me want to come back.

Nice little restaurant in the heart of Waxahachie.

Amazing, fresh, crispy, delicious Cobb salad. The honey mustard dressing has a tangy flavor, but not bad.

The best chicken salad sandwiches in town. They are served with dill pickle and chips. The taco soup is a great combo. Desserts are with fresh home made ice cream with various flavors.

If someone asks me where to go eat in town that is good, has a variety, and great atmosphere then I would NEVER EVER say anything except farm luck! This place is the bee’s knees, every time I go in which is almost 3 times a week they know me, greet me and just overall smile for their patrons! For as long as I live in town and they are there, I will never go anywhere else for my lunch salad! The farmhouse with extra veggies is amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this place! Matt( I think that’s the managers name) and his team are exceptional and truly offer a unique experience in downtown Waxahachie! From this guy and his ten pickle cup loving self thank you all for the great service, food and everything else in between!!

I came in the use the bathroom only use it because had to go but this guy comes out and tells me that it not a public restroom You have he had no right to tell me that If he was the manager of bless his heart because he’s he’s getting a bad review

Farm Luck is a fun, small town soda fountain on the historic courthouse square in Waxahachie, Texas. Fountain drinks, sandwiches and salads. Ask for the secret Banana Pudding Sundae. Not on the menu, so you have to request one like the locals do.

The cashier with the beanie on was extremely helpful and nice. Sorry I didn't get a name. I ended up ordering Aunt Sandy's Chicken Salad sandwich and it was excellent! I'm a chicken salad snob and I will tell you that it is difficult to find a really good chicken salad sandwich like this.
Update 5/20 - Been back twice and I've had the regular Chicken Salad sandwich (as good as Aunt Sandy's) and today I had the Grilled Cheese on Wheat. The Grilled Cheese was fine, but not as outstanding as the two chicken salad sandwiches were. I also substituted the potato chips on my 2nd visit and she gave me a cup of a spicy pasta salad. I wish I had remembered it today.

How do you wait 1 MONTH AND 12 DAYS to post a transaction? I ordered something online on April 3rd. It wasn't taken out of my account until May 15th?? Like what?

My family and I came for lunch and were very disappointed in the staff and the level of cleanliness. We had a terrible experience from start to finish. The female that took our order was incredibly short with us and seemed as if she would rather be anywhere else in the world than helping us in that moment. She was even texting on her phone while we ordered. Once we ordered, we sat down at the bar as all the tables were occupied. One of the male employees preparing sandwiches dropped a piece of bread, kicked it under the prep station along with several other large pieces of food and never picked it up during the entire hour we were there. I can only imagine how much food and bugs are under that prep station rotting away. We noticed a table open up and wanted to grab it quickly as more customers were coming in. We asked another female employee if she could please clean the table so we could take it and she proceeded to stand around for several minutes after the party had left. My family and I decided just to stand around the table so we could ensure we could sit there while we waited for her to clean it. She literally stood around doing nothing knowing that we were waiting on her to clean the table so we could all sit down. She finally came to clean the table and gave us an attitude about it. She then proceeded to openly complain about us asking her to clean the table to one of her fellow coworkers. The table sitting next to us left, and she also left that table uncleared for the remainder of our meal while she stood around socializing with other employees (And with food still lying on the floor).

Not bad the wait was crazy considering there were only three other parties when I went in. Not greeted when entered and stood by the cash register for a good 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. But the core cream was good. I wish they would tell the other customers to control their children but that’s not their issue.

Good place to get a bite to eat. Really good Broccoli soup. Could use more comfortable seating. Nice to save the credit card fee percentage if you pay cash.

We love this place! The menu is dun and always delicious. The vibe is light and almost like a soda shop feel. We love the fresh selections of food.
