We had a great time. Food was wonderful. When we were there we played Trivia, which was really cool. I think they play on Fridays. Great atmosphere, nice place to just unwind, have a drink with appetizer and relaaaaxx.

We had a great time at the English Merchants Parlour. The food was great . This was our first time and the server and ambiance was awesome. So we will go again. The bartender had an awesome red suit on. We truly had a great time.

Delicious and different! The cocktails are wonderful. Had the Beef Pie with an amazing crust. Hubby had Bangers and Mash and loved it. Go here and be transported.

Great environment! We loved trying all the different appetizers! I would recommend going for drinks and apps! The food was good, but not as exciting as the apps.

Came to the Parlour for my daughter's birthday brunch. Service, atmosphere, food and drinks were all wonderful. Can't wait to return for a date night with my husband and try out the dinner menu.

I had high hopes for the English Merchant's Parlour since I follow them on Instagram, read great reviews, and stayed overnight at the English Merchant's Inn. We visited on a slow Sunday morning for brunch, where there were only three tables of customers throughout most of our visit. I'm pretty sure our server was either new or not used to working brunch, as half of the items for my mother's meal- Berries and Mascarpone French Toast- was not brought out to the table (basically, just the French toast with the berries was delivered- not the mascarpone, bacon, or fruit). We addressed this immediately with our server, and she brought it out about 5 minutes later. We also ordered two Sunrise Mimosas, but if there was Prosecco, it was probably just a splash. Definitely not enough to justify the $14 price tag. I ordered the Monte Cristo French toast, which was good, but for the price, I expected it to be a bit more substantial- the bread was thin and so was the two thinly cut slices of ham. Overall, cute place, but needs to work on familiarizing servers/kitchen staff on what should be taken out to the table with meals. While food prices have gone up for everyone, the prices they charge are not justified for the portions served.

Yesterday we got brunch at this restaurant, and I was totally blown away by their fallen soldier table! This was absolutely the best fallen soldier table I have ever seen done in a civilian establishment! The ONLY thing that could have been added is chairs leaned against the table so nobody could sit at it, but it fresh roses, an actual candle, the glass was turned over, and a page explaining the table! Really amazed and appreciative of the effort made by this restaurant and come to find out the owner is a veteran and our server is married to a veteran! On top of that, great food and great service! Go check it out if you haven't tried it!

I was visiting my dad who lives in the area (I live in Haltom City) and decided on checking this out with him and my boyfriend since we like British food like The Londoner. I did like the atmosphere but didn't really get much of 60s vibe they were talking about except the 60s band posters on the wall. When I think of 60s, I think of the bright psychedelic colors they had. I did like the velvet seats they had, but they were kind of hard to get in and out of from the table. I did enjoy the different take on the Bloody Mary, the guy said it was made with wine so it had a fruity feel but I thought it was pretty steep for the price ($14) for a small cup. I had the bangers and mash but was a bit disappointed, the bangers did not taste at all English. It seemed of the cheap polka kielbasa variety and my potatoes were cold like they were sitting out. It was not worth $25. My boyfriend had the stout pie which he said wasn't the greatest either. Sorry I wanted to like this because of the high reviews, which I do not get. Maybe most people in this area have never had authentic English food or been to The Londoner. But it was very expensive for the quality given and seems like you're paying more for the atmosphere, if that.

Very disappointing. Served warm water. They do not serve anything non alcoholic. Only eight crackers with the Brie for four adults. The menu was very limited. Very very limited The food was below average Should have stayed home and ate a frozen pizza

We went for Mother's Day Brunch. It's such a cute place with unique decor, tables & chairs. We were greeted by the hostess right away and she acknowledged our reservation & seated us. She offered me a complimentary glass of champagne and brought us all our drinks. We enjoyed the scone board, the berries & mascarpone French toast, the avocado toast & the waffle board. Everything was delicious! I would say the scone board was my favorite! You must try this place!

Good music and atmosphere. The menu was Very small print. They had a saxophone musician playing which was nice but made it difficult to have a conversation. The asparagus was delicious. Had a little difficulty cutting the "bangers" without a knife with serrated blade. These are all minor; it was an enjoyable experience.

We visited Waxahachie for Scarborough Faire but are very thankful we stayed for dinner at The English Merchant’s Parlour.Eddy and Gianna took excellent care of us the entire evening. It all started with their drink menu, which is not the usual fare but rather is a curated selection that seemed perfect for the menu. For dinner we all enjoyed renditions of chicken pot pie, beef stout pie, and braised short ribs. All were excellent. We capped off the meal with the cold brew chocolate cake which had just enough coffee to provide additional depth, but certainly not enough to trouble the non-coffee drinker. The cake was simply superb paired with the fresh strawberries and covered in a light buttercream. If we were locals, we’d be regulars. But for now, dropping by The Parlour will have to remain a very occasional treat when we’re next in the area.
