“If you had not tried RULE THE ROOST yet let me tell you, you’re definitely missing out. The atmosphere is wonderful. The customer service is superb! The food is out of this world. Way better than Chick-fil-A ever could dream of being. When you first walk in you see there logo and big red neon lights! A very sleek and clean Restaurant. The chicken strips I could only eat two. They were so huge, juicy and tasty. Let me tell you. I literally feel as I have been kissed by angel because the sweet tea was perfect.“
“My review is based on a Home Town BBQ or (hole-in-the-wall) which is an inconspicuous small restaurant. First impressions of the place and location it doesn't blow u away as a fancy or city style place. But I come from a very small country town so seeing this was like seeing a restaurant that would be in a small town. Once I got my chopped brisket sandwich and fries the fries look a little sad to me I tried the brisket first and it has a bit of spice to it without bbq sauce. I'm not big on spicy food, but it was very tasty and wasn't too much. I tried it with bbq and it popped and combined nicely together. I was very impressed by the bbq brisket. I then moved on to the fries which didn't taste as bad as I thought they would. The fries are homemade and look limp and if u add salt they taste ok. When I come back I'll get chips instead of fries. I then tried some chicken from someone across the table and it was very juicy in some spots and a little dry in other spots. It was very good chicken when adding bbq sauce it really compliments the taste. Some of the plates like the bbq brisket sandwich plate and bbq half chicken plate have good quantity with amazing taste and the restler breakfast burritos had amazing tastes as well. I highly recommend testing the bbq food at this restaurant it is pretty impressive, and I will be coming back when passing from Weatherford to Mineral Wells.“
“Roo's has quickly become our favorite local restaraunt in Weatherford. We have dinner at Roo's most Friday nights. We have never waited for a table, the servers have always been prompt and pleasant, and the food quality is excellent with large portion sizes on most entrees. “Wow, why did no one tell me about this gem?! My wife and I went for lunch today, and it was OFF THE CHAIN! Blink, and you would miss it, but don't blink and don't sleep on this wonderful diner! Best Chicken Fried steak I have had in a long time (Mary would agree)! Fast, friendly service and big portions for the price (cheaper than most places, we both ordered the daily special). This is my new go-to for lunch, and their breakfast menu looks just as legit! Way to crush some good home cookin yall!“

Plate size pancakes, old fashioned french toast, sandwiches of every size and shape brings locals and visitors in my the truckloads. It is a small, mom & pop shop so be prepared for a line but absolutely worth the wait! Tables were cleaned promptly, servers and wait staff are very friendly! Right across from the courthouse and TONS of antique shops and stores to walk off the amazing breakfast! You don't want to miss this little gem!“
“This is a neat little museum. Some interesting automobiles tied to history and a few interesting autos tied to local history such as an antique Weatherford Fire Truck that has been restored or maintained in excellent condition. If you are a car guy or gal and or love history stop by. The place is immaculate and the cars are beautiful. It reminds us how car builds from back then seem more artful today. BTW, it’s free. They do have a donation box at the front if you want to contribute to sustaining the facility.“
“Holy hell. We are brewery addicts and on the way back from Rocker B Ranch with my son playing baseball, we passed edgewise eight brewery. We were both like, hey, let's make the circle here and try it out. So, that what's we did. Oh. Em. Gee. I am so glad we did. Nestled inside the brewery, is Firefly Grilling. Everything in the menu sounded tasty af. Myself, my girlfriend and our son, all ordered 3 different things. The burrito, the elites, and the birria enchiladas tacos. Wow. The flavors are just, absolutely ridiculous. So dayum tasty. I could have literally made myself sick. I am a foodie and eat out quite a bit. Hands down, some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life. Go now. Grab an amazin beer, order anything from here, and settle in to be highly impressed.“
“First time ever to a steak and shake. I've lived here my whole life too lol! Definitely recommending the Weatherford Texas Steak and Shake! The lady working was awesome and kind and super knowledgeable about all the items I had questions about. 100%will be coming back. Food was amazing and they sell their chilli in a can! Dnt judge me but I got pretty excited about the chilli lmao. All in all 10/10 would recommend.“
“Went today with my wife daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons ages 5 and 3. My daughter had been raving about this place for months so I decided to try it. Without a doubt best burger ever. meat was great, bun was toasted, crinkle fries were warm and crispy and bacon was perfect. I've been to Jake's, JB's and all the others that supposedly off the best. No questions the best of the best is the Lily Pad!!!“
