A very good vegetarian restaurant in Houston, conveniently located near Galveston and the Meenakshi Amman Temple! The food was clean, fresh, and delicious, with a wonderful homemade taste.

The plain dosa and ghee dosa were crispy and flavorful. We also loved the parotta with vegetable curry. Their snacks and sweets are definitely worth trying too!

We’re so glad we found this lovely restaurant. Highly recommended!

The food here was extremely disappointing. Almost every item we ordered seemed unhygienic, stale, and was served cold, as if it had been taken straight from the refrigerator. We tried the dosa, idli, paratha, poori (which was somewhat okay), and samosa chaat.

I always believed that an onion dosa was the safest item to order because it's usually difficult for any restaurant to get it wrong. Unfortunately, this place proved me wrong. The dosa was by far the worst I've ever had, the batter was clearly stale, with a sour taste that made it inedible.

Overall, the food quality was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Ordered the masala dosa, and it was good. The staff was friendly, and the service was welcoming. I'd say it's a good option if you're in the Friendswood area and craving Indian food.

Authentic South Indian vegetarian food with excellent taste and quality. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the South Indian meal felt just like home. Friendly service and a clean atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Excellent taste. We went our family and tasted the afternoon buffet affordable price with variety selection in menu and the couple who served i think they were the owners moved constantly and continuously without hesitation having a smile.. keep up the excellent job. Loved the taste we ll definitely visit whenever we come back to Houston.

Amazing food, highly recommend. We dined here for lunch. We got the idli & vada, mysore masala, podi dosa, and tamarind rice for the two of us for a total of $20 each.
If you are white, note the podi is spicy but tastes really good.

One of the best dosa i ever had. It was just amazing worth a try if you want to have pure south indian cuisine and speciality coming from India and someone who loves south indian food its a must try. The staff was amazing and so as customer service. Overall it was great experience and something which i will suggest to all my friends and family.
Thankyou and gave this place a shot.

Not recommended! Pathetic food and a full compromise in hygiene. Don’t waste your hard-earned money!

First and the last time I tried the food here. Sambar was extremely watery (as mentioned by other reviews). Too much oil/ghee in dosa. Never coming back. Other good reviews look suspicious.

What a piece of trash this place is.
Rava dosa had burnt taste all over, not the tandoor taste but actual burnt taste. The sambar was straight water, guaranteed they mixed some instant sambar powder with water nothing more.
Shame on them to have the word ‘Indian’ with their restaurant name.
Like seriously how can they even serve this pathetic food.
Saw the reviews later and still don’t understand how they have a 4.0 rating still.
