The milkshakes are delicious, I really really like strawberry and banana milkshake it has a really good taste. I give 4 stars because the drive through is slow... well, atleast that time a went. Everything else is great! I recommend you to visit Steak 'n Shake. :)

We waited in the drive thru 30 minutes one time. Never went back. Guess they had to butcher the cow.... and grow a few potatoes for fries while we were waiting.

Food was good but the service is a disappointment. Our waiter was the only one doing the running around. It wasn't even busy. We had the day in Kemah and really looked forward to steakNshake but the overall experience was a disappointment

Husband got food poising from here maybe 2 years ago and we hadn’t been back since. I was wanted a milkshake and wanted to give them a chance since so much time had gone by. LONGEST DRIVE THRU EVER!! 30+ minutes. We got out of the line while we could.

I’ve tried coming here 4 times and all 4 times were HORRIBLE. The worst ever. First time they were closed a half hour before their posted time said they should be. Second time I went for a shake and their ice cream machine was off. Third time I waited a half hour in the drive thru for my food, still didn’t get it so I left without it. Fourth time they apparently didn’t know how to take a gift card so I sat there for 10 minutes (yes I timed it) while they were figuring it out, all while my milkshake sat inside on the counter melting. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closes soon. They have zero idea what they are doing.

Me and my cousin decided to come eat here because we haven’t eaten here in awhile and thought we’d give it a try. Our waitress wasn’t that good. Seemed irritated and didn’t really have good customer service. Plus no gloves or mask were worn which was unsanitary. She took forever to come check on us and when I looked to see where she was to get a refill I saw her with her hand in her mouth.... disgusting. I’m not too upset but y’all need to up your customer service and be more aware.

This place is very dirty. I had to ask my server to clean off the table. The management of the restaurant was very unorganized. I had to tell one of the workers to bring me my shake. I would not recommend coming to this place at all.

Bathroom was dirty including the boys and girls bathroom they were both flooded with body fluids and fecal on the all and paper thrown on the floor. The ceiling had paper wads with dripping water. The tables were dirty and they were short on staff. While waiting 5 customers were never greeted or seated only one couple stayed and seated themselves after waiting 10 mins. It took almost 1 hour to get our food and they brought our shakes out in paper cups because they didn't have any glass cup to put the shakes in. I brought it to the staff attention and all I got was dirty face and " I hope your next visit is better ". There will be no other visit!!!! I hope this place gets help

I foresee This steak and shake not being here very long. Every time I go through the drive thru, there is always terrible service. Safe to say don’t come here if you want a steak burger or a shake. “We’re not currently serving shakes” that is literally half of your menu.
