Bad service nothing good

Nice place. Seating is a bit tight with a small dance floor. Most floorside seating had reserved signs even when it was not busy at all. Was disappointed that it was Saturday night and was slow at 9:00 pm. The drinks were also very well made.

My husband and I will not be back!! Worse management I have ever seen. Enough said. Kevin is an ahole. DJ sucks. All money driven. No matter how long you have been spending money here, you mean nothing to management or the owner. Also, drugs are bought and sold here every weekend on the patio.

Waitress tried ro pull a fast one. Charged me for 7 beers, instead of 4, and then got mad at me when I questioned my bill. If you visit this establishment, buy your drinks directly from the bar.

The only reason. That I'm giving such a low rating on the food. Is because they no longer serve food there. It would be great if they were to serve food again. A lot of people . Mainly the regulars who have been going there for many yrs. Wish that we could get the kitchen back up and working. They had an amazing cheese burger and cheese frys with bacon. We all sure miss the old days at The Hop. And look for Julie best waitress ever. Sweet plite... just down to earth. I've been goung there for 17 yrs. Straight on Fridays. And some Saturdays. Friday nights is a good night. There are plenty of people where u can dance and not be too crowded. Saturdays are really packed. Ur basically elbow to elbow. it's a younger crowd . But the music is great to dance to. Great atmosphere, and lots of friendly people. The co er charge is free 6 p.m to 8:p.m. after 8:p.m it $5.00

Go there at 1:30 still a cover charge but “if you want to wait until 1:45, I won’t charge you a cover” complete rudeness at the door! Overpriced drinks!

Last Saturday was my first time at the hop in Webster with my old neighbor who used to live across the street from me where I live now it’s safe to say we will be back there again I danced with two ladies I felt like a kid in a candy store the bartender was as friendly as they come I enjoyed it and left the place with a blushing beet red face we’re coming back again

I was having the time of my life at this club, until about the last 30 minutes of the evening. I was having fun dancing all night, and even so when I was dancing with a lady I wanted to get to know better. Well the bouncer guy came up to me right as I was about to talk to her and cut me off. I showed him my house keys to let him know that I was NOT driving and did not have my car keys and was rather driving with my friend, and told me I was cut off drinking regardless . Upset about this, I went to the bartender to close my tab where the bouncer dude FOLLOWED me and told the bartender I was cut off after he saw me tell the bartender I was closing out. I honestly didn't even drink that much there and felt like I was treated unfairly! I have been to other bars around the area where the bartenders and bouncers know me well, and they would have never cut me off for this amount I drank. I was ready to go and I was so upset when I left. I love the music and dancing and the atmosphere of The Hop, but if you are going to treat your patrons this way, then I will go elsewhere to give my business to even if it is a different genre of music. I will NEVER come back here again after this experience. Sad it happened at the end of the night too because I was ready to give this place a 5 star review only after my second time visiting. Ya'll play great music of back in the day but have horrible customer service!!! Again, you guys lost a great customer and will never recommend others to come here!

So after a couple of days of thinking about this, I wanted to come back and update this review. I did enjoy the music and dancing, so I will give one star back for a two star rating. However, I cannot give any more stars back due to the professionalism of your bouncer/doorman. If I did drink too much that night, then ok I completely understand if you want to stop serving me. However, the way the doorman handled the situation was very unprofessional. He should have first pulled me off to the side and had a small talk with me. He should have sternly warned me of what I was doing to make him suspect that I drank to much, and that if I continued my actions I would be cut off. He should NOT have jumped right in front of me in the middle of the club with everyone standing around and when I was about to talk to someone to abruptly say "you're cut off and no more drinks." He also should not have followed me like a hawk and told the bartender to stop serving me as he saw me clearly tell him that I was closing my tab. No other doorman anywhere I've gone to has gone to that extreme action. If he had simply talked to me first, I would have been more accepting and maybe would come back on another night with the mindset of how many drinks I know I should have. However, his actions left a bad taste in my mouth and I simply can't come back to this club and give it any more business. Still a lost customer but wanted to come back here with more clarity to my thought process.

I absolutely fell in love with this place from the moment we walked in. The energy from the dance floor is welcoming and contagious. I personally can dance anywhere without any liquid courage but my friend is another story. She was asking me to dance just because the music is diverse from oldies to country to rap and Latino music. The staff is always so friendly from the lady at the door and the security guard. The bartenders are always slammed but are quick to get to you. The female bartender is our fave because she always greets us with a smile and is quick to attend to us and make our drinks. There is a server there that is always so nice to us and cleaned us a table last time we came in she is light complexion with short dark hair and glasses. I hate that I don’t remember her name but I plan to ask next time so I can recommend her. The crowd is usually older but lots of regulars and that’s what we enjoy is seeing a lot of the same people there and dancing. If you’re looking for a good time and dancing I would definitely recommend the Hop!

This place is TRASH! A physically & mentally handicapped lady was getting groped & kissed on, & apparently didn't like it, & of course the only gentleman there, me, stood up & persuasively told him to leave her alone or else. Well, you guessed it, they kicked me out! I asked the older door guy, & the other Idiot, "What if it was your daughter?" No response! JOKE!!!
