“My daughter and I tried Mexican Restaurant Doña Paz in Weslaco for the 1st time & it was so good! The fajitas are tender, juicy and full of flavor. The rice was moist and flavorful. The beans are good. The cheese enchiladas are light and cheesy. I can't wait to come back and try other plates. The staff are super nice and friendly.”

Other places the bread sticks tastes like tree branches or the dough is not baked completely. This location should be a training center for other location employees no lie. “Weslaco, TX is lucky to have the incredible staff who work at this location. I go at least one day a week for lunch and the food is always correct, made fresh and is hot. The staff is always friendly and in good mood.

Lastly, this location is always clean. I’ve never experience me in issue in 5+ years of going. Shout out to this staff and leadership team.”

And I just found out on social media about this place. my family and I go to Progresso just to eat Milanesa de res @ Renes. The milanesa de res at Renés in Weslaco TASTES THE SAME! I’m so happy I found this gem! My father and brother will be coming down to the valley from work next month and we will go visit Rene’s in Weslaco! Our customer service was stupendous and the restaurant was so clean!”

Margaritas were excellent & happy hour price was extremely low. The only complaint for every Applebee's is the music is way too loud!!”
