“I've always thought LJS is a good deal. The food was good, the service was expected and the old school feel of this location gives it a 4 star. The ice machine was not working nor was there any tea available. Not big things since I was in no hurry. The outside the building needs to be cleaned up and refurbished, a fresh/clean look. Don't change the building style though.

Dietary restrictions: Many forget the LJS added to their menu awhile back. There are some Lite items if you are trying to watch your calories.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely for kids as it is a great way to try fish or other seafood. Also they still give out their pirate hats!“

“The food is not as good as Mexican but for the United States, I think the price is affordable and you can eat healthy and be vegan. Just check because almost everything has animal products, I recommend that you order a salad ? with everything you want and the tortillas on the side. This is the only way to ensure that it is vegan.

Vegetarian options: Vegan options, it comes with specifications which allergenic ingredients it includes. Ingredients of animal origin also come.

“The team at the Weslaco Sonic Drive-In are absolutely amazing. 😀Everyone is so friendly and my food is always hot, accurate, and delicious. 🍔 I frequent this location 3+ a week to enjoy half price drinks. Please consider tipping your car hop. 🙏🏽“

“I have been a fan of Whataburger ever since I learned to drive. I even worked for the company back in the 90’s. Anyway, just want to say that this location is very friendly ( way more than the company standard ). Valeria is a top notch manager, Maria the morning cashier/ order taker is also great ( you would think she is Customer Service Manager, yeah she Is that Good! ) This location is now My favorite WB. “The workers, in my experiences, have all provided great customer service at this location. Most are polite. Sometimes it does take a while for them to answer when we buzz to order. It would be better if they could at least acknowledge that they'll soon be with us. Almost left recently thinking the speaker wasn't working.“

“I love this location they're always so friendly and my food doesn't look like they gave me someone's left overs lol. I'm from Edcouch Elsa but I rather drive to Weslaco for the service and quality of food.“

“Love the service. Love the food was a little overwhelmed due to the fact that it was my first time there so I got the tuna and it was super delicious.“

“This location is always so busy, yet the staff is very efficient at getting you what you need quickly. I usually order on the app, and they normally find me before I get to the front of the line. My only advice is on getting to the location. It's cumbersome to enter through the expressway, and if you miss the entrance, you have to circle back around the block. I'd recommend going in through the car wash on Texas Blvd. Parking is very limited here as there isn't enough space for all the patrons that try to dine in. This location is, again, very busy. So take out is the best choice here. Make sure to use the app and order ahead.“

“I choose to drive to this location for Subways because it is the one in town that always is the best. Having said that something has changed and I am hoping they work it out soon. The restaurant is clean, the staff is pretty friendly, but ordering outside at the kiosk is kind of wonky at best. If you make a mistake you just have to live with it because once you pull up the staff doesn't come and greet you immediately. I really hope they read this and check in more readily. I needed to switch a veggie and had to just deal with it and go home and make the change there. I have always loved this location and all the staff here, but like I said something has changed. Maybe it's just me, but unfortunately I will be taking a break from Subways and we used to go 2-3 times a week.“
