There were nine of us in our group and we went to Ruby's in White Oak after a 4th grade football game Saturday.
The food was served maybe lukewarm, if that, and it was very bland. Also, we never saw the queso we ordered.
I don't think anyone of us finished their food.
The restaurant wasn't crowded, maybe couples at two other tables.
Ruby's on Broadway in Tyler is great, White Oak, not so good.
I now have a big 'X' on this place.
This place is absolutely awesome! The food is amazing and all the people are so friendly and all about customer service. I’ve lived in the area for 15 years now and hate that I just now discovered rubys!
First time we ate dinner at Ruby’s in White Oak. I ordered a barbacoa torta, 1 sope, kids quesadilla, and hubby ordered quesabirria. I was impressed, food was very good. Food is not Tex-Mex, it’s Mexican food that I can cook with less hassle. The horchata drink also very good. Next visit I will be ordering red enchiladas! Highly recommend the food I ordered. Also a plus on customer service.
