👍We ate there yesterday 5/21/2026 for 1st time. Food was Fantastic, friendly staff , clean atmosphere & highly recommend this Smokehouse. Reasonably priced food items We will be back soon !! Keep up the Great work there
My husband and I stopped in for dinner last night, currently eating my leftovers for lunch and have nearly had to fight two co workers trying to steal my smoked turkey! It’s delicious, serving sizes are great. Flavors are developed and not aggressive. We enjoyed our first trip to Tenders very much.
We are foodies and go out to eat a lot! This was by far the best customer service and the food was delicious! They are not greedy with the meat and the bbq sauce is perfect!!

Based on reviews, Tender Smokehouse Whitesboro offers awesome food and outstanding customer service. The meat is very tender and smokey, and the portions are huge. The bbq sauce is perfect, with one reviewer noting it is very unusual to like a sauce. The fried okra was perfect, and the beef rib and jalapeño sausage were so good. Everything was delicious, with nice portions for lunch the next day.
However, the baked potatoes are not cooked enough, with a hard inside and not done well. They need to be baked until tender throughout. The process needs to be refined. For large take-out orders, the food prep and quality is great, but the packaging is a problem. Styrofoam containers with cellophane tape do not stay closed, causing cracked or spilled food. Meats have been incorrectly labeled, and turkey and brisket were put in the same container. The online ordering page is really bad and does not easily allow for multiple types of brisket on one order. Also, a large order of meats and sides only came with six slices of toast, no plates, and no utensils.
