“Great customer service! The owner Sook was very welcoming. I ordered pancakes three eggs and sausage. The food was very good. She let me know that I could call ahead order and this is helpful because I’m a truck driver and the pilot is about 3/4 of a mile down the street. There’s plenty of room to park the truck next-door to the restaurant which makes it easy to pick up your food. I wish I was here during lunch or dinner because the burgers look amazing. Thank you Sook for your hospitality.”

“Absolutely phenomenal! Fantastic place to get a good hot meal and fast too! I had tried to eat at another establishment in town. Drove 20 miles to eat. After standing there and no one seemed interested in even seating me I left and came here. Was an excellent idea! Was seated within 20 seconds of entering the building. Had a hot plate of food in less than 10 minutes. I will absolutely be coming back!”

“Seat yourself place (we love those) Waitress followed shortly after we sat down! Drinks came quickly...i had the cod basket and my husband had the special chicken fried steak w/mashe potatoes and green beans...he kept talking about how good the green beans were (i didn't try them)...both were good! I was sad that their online menu is not their menu anymore...it is really condensed but the food we had was still good!”

Kevin was a great cook, the service was excellent, and my waitress (Marilyn) was outstanding. Being a truck driver, it's not always easy to get a good meal. It's much appreciated to be able to sit down and eat a good meal.”

“Met friends at this restaurant. The food was great, reasonably priced and the service was good. Had not seen my friends in a year. We were able to sit and visit on a Friday night without feeling rushed to leave. Our server kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. She was so friendly as the others staff. “I have always eaten at Howard's in Ft. Stockton but wanted to eat at the original here in Monahans. The women working there are so wonderful and friendly. I had the double meat double cheese burger with mustard and it was large, hot and well stacked. It's a bigger burger than you get at Ft. Stockton. I always have my burgers at locally owned burger shacks and never eat at the fast food chains because these shack burgers are so much better and I want them to stay in business. Their large whole jalapenos were so good . I love mine SPICY HOT and these were also crisp. No jalapeno is as hot as in the past, but these had a bite. “This is one of the best restaurants in West Texas. Everything is large in here, including the steaks. My 12-ounce had to be at least 16! There is a great salad bar with soups, pasta and green salads. You won't be able to finish before your meal arrives. The waitress is always nearby. They do NOT serve alcohol, but you can bring your own. The prices are cheap for what you get.”

Duluth Minnesota needs at least 5 (one for each part of town)..., You dont even have to get out of your vehicle and you get great service and if you dont think so, after you finish the mixed drink you ordered after bringing home the bread, milk, carton of smokes, pop, and snacks you got to sit and relax while waiting in your vehicle, you will soon forget it. They made an excellent White Russian!! Prices are comp to less as to the other stores you have to go in..., and byway, they wont send you off with one just for you, but Thirst T's will..”

Couples not used to large portion restaurant chains like Pappacitos should share.The food is excellent, everything came out scalding hot like it should. All fresh, the tortilla send store bought.
