“This place rocks! It lived up to all of the reviews. Don't let the facade fool you! Go in. But be careful, the sign on the door is there to help you not make a fool of yourself. Our waitress was EXTREMELY nice. Food was quick, hot and very good. Would eat here again if we were local, but we're just passing through.”

This is a Must Try place if you're in the Monahans, Texas area. The green chili cheeseburger, and the fried catfish were EXCEPTIONAL! We also really like their onion rings.”

“Absolutely phenomenal! Fantastic place to get a good hot meal and fast too! I had tried to eat at another establishment in town. Drove 20 miles to eat. After standing there and no one seemed interested in even seating me I left and came here. Was an excellent idea! Was seated within 20 seconds of entering the building. Had a hot plate of food in less than 10 minutes. I will absolutely be coming back!”

“showed up just before closing, the waitress told me I was more than welcome to sit down if I didn't mind eating out of a to-go box cause they were trying to clean up. Kevin was a great cook, the service was excellent, and my waitress (Marilyn) was outstanding. Being a truck driver, it's not always easy to get a good meal. It's much appreciated to be able to sit down and eat a good meal.”

“Very good food from the Italian to the pho you can find something you like. Just good home style cooking. She is a one cook army server and cook. It's quite impressive she is very nice and prompt. I highly suggest you come and try it!”

“Came here on recommendation from hotel clerk when I stopped in Monahans for the night. Chips and salsa served up right away. Got a small queso which was a little different from back home, but still really good.Special of the night was street tacos, so I went with the beef fajita version of them. Delicious! Came with a side of beans and rice.Atmosphere was typical Mexican restaurant, combo of booths and tables with ability to handle large parties.”

“If the food had been warmer it would be rated 5 stars. The steam table for the buffet seemed to cool. The food had good flavor. The staff was friendly. Service was not slow but was sparce. When you got service it was quick. Atmosphere was nothing special.”

“Met friends at this restaurant. The food was great, reasonably priced and the service was good. Had not seen my friends in a year. We were able to sit and visit on a Friday night without feeling rushed to leave. Our server kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. She was so friendly as the others staff. “I have always eaten at Howard's in Ft. Stockton but wanted to eat at the original here in Monahans. The women working there are so wonderful and friendly. I had the double meat double cheese burger with mustard and it was large, hot and well stacked. It's a bigger burger than you get at Ft. Stockton. I always have my burgers at locally owned burger shacks and never eat at the fast food chains because these shack burgers are so much better and I want them to stay in business. Their large whole jalapenos were so good . I love mine SPICY HOT and these were also crisp. No jalapeno is as hot as in the past, but these had a bite. “Let's be honest here, if you're looking for Cordon Bleu food, this is not it. What this is is an honest, simple, country steakhouse. The meat was good, well seasoned, and cooked to order. The sides are varied and were quite good. The salad bar is actually amazing. Would I come here again? Absolutely.”

Duluth Minnesota needs at least 5 (one for each part of town)..., You dont even have to get out of your vehicle and you get great service and if you dont think so, after you finish the mixed drink you ordered after bringing home the bread, milk, carton of smokes, pop, and snacks you got to sit and relax while waiting in your vehicle, you will soon forget it. They made an excellent White Russian!! Prices are comp to less as to the other stores you have to go in..., and byway, they wont send you off with one just for you, but Thirst T's will..”
