“Great location for fresh made to order thai food. My go to is the springs rolls fresh and the peanut sauce is really good. The mango sticky rice is also a go to for dessert. The dumplings are also a hit. Its a food truck so have to take to go but thats not a issue. The owner is friendly and provides great service i have been to several thai places around town and he is up thier in food and service“

Crab rangoon was the best I've ever had, & little egg rolls that had some of everything rolled in there, & a wonderful chef-made sweet & sour sauce that I think they should bottle, was delicious on everything. This is likely a mistake caused by the fact that Lemongrass is a very common name for Thai places and the reviewer mistook this one for another place he had patronized. But I so wanted a Singha or a Leo with my lunch. All minor in the scheme of world events.“

“I have been underwhelmed by other Thai places we’ve tried since moving to SA two years ago, but Thai Dee did not disappoint! We had tom yum soup with tofu , vegetable egg rolls, potstickers, beef pad ka pow, and khee mao with shrimp. Everything was fantastic! My husband would’ve liked a little more spice on the ka pow, but I imagine they hear a lot of Americans ask for spicy and not really mean Thai spicy. 😉🌶️ We will definitely be back to try more of the menu! If you were closer to Lackland, we’d be there weekly! 😆“

“We’ve been going here for years. It’s mostly been the staff and they are so friendly. Service and food are both excellent. I usually get Basil fried rice and fresh spring rolls. It has a very clean and flavorful taste. The tea is also clean and crisp. We’ll dine in sometimes but usually call in a to-go order. It’s our favorite Thai restaurant and close to home. The best!“

“THE BEST PHO in San Antonio! Broth is absolutely the best around. We live 40+ miles away, but still travel to SA for this pho at least once a month. Service is always good and fast. Cleanliness is as good as most restaurants and the crowds are never too bad for seating waits.“

“My family and I wanted to get Vietnamese food, but we decided to try a different spot instead of our usual Pho Kim Long. The restaurant itself is very “hole in the wall”. There was giant fan instead of AC, and the menus were a bit… “well-read”. The lids of the condiments were also rather crusty. However, if I know anything, it’s that many unsuspecting or even dubious places have immaculate food. Pho Thien A wasn’t exactly immaculate, but it was definitely tasty. My mother and sister’s phos were both decent with plenty of meat. I’d actually say they put more meat in their pho than most other establishments. I had the bun Bo hue. The broth was a bit lacking in flavor, but the meatballs and “ham” were absolutely tasty. My brother git the grilled short ribs. He said they were very delicious, but the amount of food was disappointing. The fresh spring rolls were quite good and had plenty of filling.

The only actually BAD thing was that the Coke Zero cans we received were expired by 3 months… we didn’t notice until after drinking them, and they tasted okay, but that should really be checked by staff more often.

Overall, not a bad spot for decent Vietnamese grub.. maybe just check the dates on your beverage cans, though.“

This was a great place to start it looks like a family owned buisness so service was slightly lacking: we never got refills for our drinks (but im not sure if its because they charge for each refill) my husband got the Curry Chicken - C21 & I got the Pho steak -P4. I really like my pho it had flavor and if you want you can ask for it spicy. NOTE- The portions sizes are BIG so do not come thinking its a small portion.“
