“If you ever drive through Houston and Lake Charles, you will find the most delicious little country cooking diner. This spot has been a family favorite for over 16years now! Everyday they have two special entrées and serve Chicken fried steaks, baked chicken, & Chicken fried chicken! If you go order the mac & cheese!!!! These ladies also cook the most delicious hamburgers and home made onions rings! But they also have sandwiches, blts, chicken salad sandwiches, but they have salads and kids menu that had grilled cheese, pb&j sandwiches and tenders! My kids love the fruit cups! Don’t forget to get Chocolate surprise! It’s like a chocolate pudding cheesecake! Amazing!!!!! 10 or of 10 we highly recommend! But remember they are only open Monday-Friday 10:30-2pm!“
