The food here is delicious. Their pot roast is amazing, and I wish they served it more often. If you're looking for a good restaurant to have lunch at in Woodville, I'd definitely recommend the Dogwood Diner.
We decided to try J-Bird's Dogwood Diner on our most recent trip to Woodville. We arrived shortly after they opened at 10:30, and were the only customers there. The restaurant is set in a building that, if I was guessing, was built about 100 years ago, based on its design. Be sure to check out the ceiling fans in the middle of the restaurant that are driven by two belts and a single motor! I took my Mom to eat a somewhat late lunch here and the staff were super friendly!!The food was good, the atmosphere was clean, positive vibes, a breath of fresh air, the food smelled good and the establishment was clean with a decent view so if You want to see what’s going on around there I don’t think You would be disappointed in the view.. it surely put a smile on our faces!So Thank You!!
