We were just walking around downtown Wylie and stopped by Say It With Sugar Cake Shop—what a sweet surprise! We tried the Unicorn cupcake, the Ding Dong cupcake, and the Key Lime cupcake, and they were all 10 out of 10. Such a fun treat to share with the kids—definitely worth the stop!

I’m not sure why there are so many negative Nancy’s commenting on this establishment. I have always had a positive experience with this bakery. So far, I have gotten three cakes from here. All of them were beautifully made and the taste was outstanding. Occasionally, my daughter and I will come here to get a cupcake after visiting the park. The employees and owners have always been kind, welcoming, and quick both help and deliver. Their service and products exceed my expectations every time. Additionally, the inside of the bakery is original and just stunning overall. Exposed brick walls and decorated cakes on display. It’s charming and has so much character which adds to the experience. I love visiting this bakery and will continue to visit going forward.

Called 4 times before anyone answered the phone. Was told a cake for 4 people would be 215$ unless I paid cash, then it would be cheaper. The staff was rude, dismissive and clearly did not want my business. Very sad that small businesses don’t see the value in good customer service anymore.

Went yesterday to get wedding cake cupcakes. They were awful! The cake and the buttercream had no taste and very dry. And $22.00 for 4 cupcakes 🙄 After a couple of bites of one I spit it out and threw the other 3 away. So disappointed. I used to frequent the bakery 10 years ago but it’s not the same. It’s entirely to crowded with baking utensils etc…looks dirty etc… definitely could use a bigger space or find away to change the footprint of the space. The service at the front was good and they can decorate cakes very well. But it is just was not an inviting place anymore 😢 I won’t go back 😢

Their cakes? So moist and delicious, I briefly considered proposing to one. The cookies? Perfectly baked and so addictive they should probably come with a warning label. And the staff? Friendlier than my grandma after two glasses of wine!
I’d give this place 10 stars if I could, but I guess I’ll have to settle for coming back every week (or, you know, every day). If you haven’t been here yet, what are you doing with your life?!

Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are to the staff!! The cake turned out perfect and our daughter loved it soo much!! Everything we were promised and more, they went above and beyond to work with me and figure out an affordable yet beautiful cake that our daughter asked for and Say it with Sugar made it happen!! This is our second time ordering from them and they never disappoint!

After moving to the Dallas area, I was disappointed to learn that bakeries here don’t ice cakes with buttercream. I was happy to learn that Say it With Sugar bakery creates a delicious buttercream. Not only that, there are so many cake flavors and frosting choices to select from that the options for creating a unique cake are limitless. I ordered a Madagascar vanilla bean cake with Nutella mousse filling and buttercream icing for Christmas dinner that not only rivaled any bakery in Chicago in taste, but also in beauty.The cakes from this bakery are works of art. This has been my experience with every order. And the variety of cupcakes is much greater than most other bakeries. They also make cookies, petit fours, and offer ice cream sandwiches made with macarons. And I can’t say enough about the great service provided from the creative consultation through to the pick up of the item. They even offered to carry the cake to my car.
Calling out other businesses across the country to demand to thier wishes or have thier business account taken down is crazy. I'm from Michigan and watched first hand how this company has gone out to destroy companies that aren't even related to them. Terrible people own this and run this. They harass other business owners and turn to Facebook to get thier account deactivated. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE WHO COMTANSTLY TEAR OTHER PEOPLE AND BUSINESS DOWN FOR NO REASON.

They answered all my questions, treated me with compassion every time I called, and they delivered the most beautiful & DELICIOUS cake. They exceeded my expectations and I am extremely happy with the results. I will definitely be using them in the future! ?

My daughter and I stopped in to order a birthday cake. We were both shocked that the owners did not greet us at all. We looked around a bit, then finally the lady asked "how may I help you." When we told her we needed to order a cake, she came over and finally warmed up a bit as we went through the ordering process. The next week, I arrived to pick up the cake as scheduled. When I walked in the owners were both working on separate cakes. They both looked up and me, and without saying a word, they continued what they were doing. After about 2 minutes, and very nice young lady took care of me. She boxed up the cake and helped me to my car. The owners never opened their mouths to say Thank you or come back to see us. I don't understand the rudeness and downright ugliness of some business owners. The cake was delicious, and beautiful, but I will take my money to a bakery where the owners appreciate their customers. People have options where they spend their money, and for me, if you cannot greet me, something that simple, I don't need to patronize your business. Do better and start greeting your customers with a friendly hello!!

This is my third cake from them! Say it With Sugar did an amazingly beautiful job (as always!) on the cake and cupcakes I ordered for a Gender Reveal Party I hosted! Right from the start, Treg was super helpful taking my order! And Monica did a flawless job on the cake & cupcakes!!! I’m so happy and definitely will be getting more custom cakes & cup cakes from them for future parties!
