Walking into "Villa Vinci" on Ballard Ave in the heart of historic downtown Wylie feels like stepping into a well-kept secret. This small trattoria exudes an unpretentious atmosphere that is immediately welcoming, embodying the essence of casual Italian dining. The ambiance, with its aging tables and straightforward setting, might not scream luxury, but it whispers home, comfort, and authenticity. The staff at "Villa Vinci" are at the heart of the experience. Our waiter, Yaya, was a standout, proving that service can make or break a dining adventure. Though his Kurmanji might be better than his Italian, his service was fluent in the universal language of hospitality. Yaya's attentiveness and genuine warmth added a personal touch to our meal, making us feel welcome and part of the family."Villa Vinci" serves up dishes that would make any Italian grandmother proud. I had the eggplant parmigiana, a dish that, in its simplicity, requires a deft hand to perfect. It was sublime; each bite was a harmonious blend of rich sauce, impeccably prepared eggplant, layered over flawlessly cooked spaghetti, all beneath a veil of sumptuously melted cheese that whisked me away to Italy. We left with full stomachs and warm hearts, unanimously agreeing that the experience was delightful.

Food: great.Service: great.Ambience: great. Our server was the sweetest person. She was down to earth and honest. We ordered the chicken murphy and pasta alfreno, both were really good. The bread was hot and tasted yummy. The chocolate cake was out of the world. Everything was perfect and we loved it!!!

I like this place. Sometimes I find the food a bit salty, but it's still good enough to go back! I really like the owner. He is really friendly, and I always see him out on the floor working with his team. To me, that tells you a lot about a business. I've gotten multiple items here and liked them all. I would recommend trying it!

By far the smallest and most pitiful calzone I've ever had. There was barely any cheese and not one speck of ricotta, and pineapple was rancid to top it all off. Never again! Complete waste of money!

Stepped right out of Wylie and right into Italy. We came for the craft show and left speechless by this hidden gem. This is not even close to average. Villa Vici sets the bar then surpasses it. The two gentlemen running the front have impeccable customer service. Some of these subpar reviews had to be on something. The waiter was excellent, my compliments to the chef. A touch of Parmasean and a sprinkle of pepper flakes and an explosion of delicious, my taste buds were having a party. We started of with the garlic bread. Warm olive oil, butter and a sprinkle of Parmasean. Soft and fluffy like the person who made this was ordained for just this reason. The Fettuccini Piemontese, there are no words to describe these noodles. The respect this place deserves for making these from scratch, if you know how homemade noodles taste you know. The steak was cooked to perfection as it it called the garlic, onions and peppers to join in on the festivities. The demi glaze and touch of cream accented this dish like a Maraschino does to an Classic Old Fashion.Last but certainly not least the Pasta Alforno was THEE best I've ever tasted. Fresh mushrooms, thick bacon and the chicken, the chicken was superb. The white wine sauce tied and Mozzarella tied it all together like Chef knew this dish was meant to be. There are different variations of this dish, this bar a landslide to me the Best ?.Side note: Calamari didn't make it to the photos well because I ate it. The Tiramisu didn't make it either, guess you'll have to go in and try it yourself. And just to appease the haters, great food takes time, if you want fast food go to the garden. (OLIVE)
