Now Lake Fork Burgers & Fries..food was really good. Burger was made to order, fresh and tasty. Daily special was chicken fried chicken, which was crispy on the outside but so tender I never had to use a knife to cut it. Mashed potatoes were good as well. Definitely will go back.
In the under $10 for a full meal including sides and a drink category, this place shines. The chicken fried steak was just the right crispy without being oily, my son thought the catfish would be worth repeating. I tried his hush puppies and wouldn't mind a separate side order of those. An amazing value.
Best cafe anywhere near Lake Fork!!! Great food, Great prices! Good location and best of all, the owner, Al, is spectacular! It's worth going to eat just for the great conversation.
