The Gateway Bar & Grill offers fantastic food and a friendly staff, though it can get busy at times. The atmosphere is great, with a welcoming vibe from the owner and staff. The Gateway Burger and home-cut fries are highly recommended, and they even serve Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. The management takes great care of their customers, even for to-go orders, ensuring the food is still delicious the next day. The cheeseburgers and fries are amazing, and the fried jalapeño sticks are also a hit. The service is awesome, with a super nice bartender who makes great drinks. The atmosphere is super cute, bigger than it looks, and the people are friendly and talkative. It's a fantastic place to spend time, especially for those in the Yantis, Texas area.
