Swen's Restaurant is a really cool place to hang out with family, offering a fine dining experience at Alta with spectacular views of the mountain and Collins Gulch. The pork chop is fabulous, the best ever tasted, while the steak is flawlessly executed. The ambiance is great with a real lodge style, and the whipped potatoes are a must-try. The servers are attentive, delightful, and knowledgeable. Despite the pricey drinks, the overall experience is pleasant and worth recommending. Located inside Snowpine Lodge, the food at Swen's exceeds expectations, with complimentary bread and divine desserts. The menu is creative and delicious, offering wonderful brunch and interesting appetizers. While some seafood dishes like the Halibut and Salmon may be mediocre, the staff remains kind and not pushy, making the dining experience enjoyable. Highly recommended for a delightful meal in beautiful, welcoming surroundings.
