I was stuck at Alta Albion base because there was a rock on little Cottonwood Canyon Road blocking traffic, decided to stay for supper. Everything was really good the only downside is that they don’t have enough waitstaff. but the kid waiting on me was really hard-working. this is one of the only places that I know of that serve people who aren’t actually lodging there. most of the other places serve only their overnight guests. So it was convenient and the prices were totally reasonable for Alta.

We stayed at The Snowpine Lodge for 6 days. The service at the pub was slow and waiters were pretty disrespectful with a lot of attitude. The food is average, nothing special. The waiters looked like they just got out of the bed with no presentability. The most notable discrepancy occurred on the final night at the hotel's pub. While ordering a meal, our table was singled out for ID verification, an occurrence absent on previous nights. We had a bottle of wine at the same table the night before.Such a selective approach, seemingly discriminatory, raises concerns about the establishment's commitment to impartial service. In upholding their standards, the hotel should ensure consistency in policy implementation, treating all patrons equally in every aspect of their service. They either have to ask for the ID of everyone sitting in that area or not. Despite the fact that I showed my permanent resident card which is well accepted at every airport, they insisted on seeing a passport which I was given at the check in 6 days ago. They should work at the airport, not at a hotel hospitality business. Their job is to ask ID every table, not make a wild guess. There were kids having beers right next table to us.I felt like they have a lot to learn from hospitality and have a trained staff. They shouldn't leave interns as a night manager ( the blonde guy with thick glasses) who is clearly incompetent and lacks experience. You can put the most beautiful furniture in the room but if you don't have the right people, it leaves a horrible taste in guests memory.

We went down for some drinks after dinner and ordered a nacho as well (not pictured). The drinks were so pretty and were pretty good. The nachos were delicious and definitely hit the spot. There was buffalo chili on top and that had a little kick to it but it was still amazing. We sat near the bar area and it was nice and cozy. Overall, it was nice to just go and hang out.

What an amazing last minute evening. Did a drive to see the leaves and decided to stop for a quick bite/cocktail. Ended up staying over 2 1/2 hours. Listened to live Bluegrass music played by @JimFish while enjoying some delicious cocktails and food. We had the Tempura Cauliflower and Poké bowl. For the amount of food served and quality the price was right. Bar was crowed but we found a table right next to the musicians. Only downside is our server never refilled or asked if we wanted more water. I had to ask for water and our check. The lobby/Pub views are amazing. Would I go back - Yes! Give it a try. The Old Fashion is worth it… Let me know what you think?Vegetarian options: Burgers and plenty of shareable apps.

I ate at the Gulch restaurant a few times during my stay. It's the only option outside of breakfast on certain days of the week. Each time I was there, I sat at the bar and there were a lot of locals as well. It felt like they got the priority service. However, the food was good.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Food was disgusting, service was 1.5/10. Just wish they had told us when they seated us that they were bad at this. Don't bother eating here. Snowpine hotel is amazing! I had a burger which took an hour to arrive and was gross and a Caesar salad that had sun dried tomatoes in it. Seriously, don't eat here.

Food and drinks were mid. It was underwhelming to say the least. Views were nice though.
