This is Alta's main on-mountain dining restaurant to stop at for a break during your day of skiing. The food is expensive but it is solid. The oatmeal raisin cookie is probably the best one we have ever had. It was amazing! There is also a small gift shop within Alf's that has tons of cool Alta branded stuff.
The new renovation at Alf’s offers even more beautiful views of Alta. My kids get fries, and my husband loves a good CHETO (grilled cheese sandwich with tomato). I highly recommend heading to the furthest side away from the checkout registers for the best tables with windows overlooking the runs.

Alf's Restaurant at Alta is the perfect spot for a break while skiing. Although a bit pricey, the food is solid, with the oatmeal raisin cookie being a standout. The recent renovation offers stunning views, especially from tables far from the registers. The menu is kid-friendly, offering a variety of options. For those looking to ski both Alta and Snowbird, the dual ticket is recommended for access to both mountains. Alta's no-snowboarder policy keeps the slopes less crowded, while Snowbird offers a different experience with nice runs.
