Good food but they've always had a problem with bad service. My daughter is in town and worked hard to get her kids to bed before 8pm so we could run to Avenue Bakery for a treat. We got there 10 minutes before closing and the doors were locked! One of the workers walked out while we were standing at the door and the other worker locked the door behind her, completely ignoring us and the other customers that had pulled up behind us.

Ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s birthday heart shaped cake 8 inch double layer white cake with strawberry filling. Even though the colors were a little off, the decorating itself was fine. Look like the picture we gave her, but I felt like I was mostly paying for icing and not so much cake both of the cake layers were cut in half and filled not with layers of strawberry jam or preserves, but again mostly icing mixed with a little bit of strawberry. More than just a great bakery, we ended up ordering their peppered steak, garlic mashed potatoes and pecan grilled chicken! Wow it was so good! Food was excellent and priced pretty inexpensive. $17 for a steak dinner that was amazing, can’t get that at Texas Roadhouse! Definitely a new favorite for us!
