My 4 year old daughter has Celiac disease, and we went here specifically because they’re Gluten-Free. The picky little eater ate it all! The chicken (we tried both nuggets and tenders) was delicious— high quality chicken with a good texture to the breading. The fries were excellent, we really enjoyed them! The sauces complimented everything quite well, bringing out the best in each dish. I’ve got to say that they come with the gluten-free price tag, but that’s more a statement about the industry than this particular restaurant. We’ll be coming back here for sure, it’s kid and parent approved!
I wouldn’t have guessed it was gluten free. But the price is a little high. We ordered the tenders the nuggets and the taco. And it was barely enough food for me and my wife. The sauces were good the honey mustard sauce is great.
If you are gluten free check it out! If you want to try some tasty tenders check it out. If you want tons of bang for you buck maybe

This was a great experience, the plain tenders are great, coming from a fried chicken expert. The sticky tenders were also great! The owner came to check on us and was very friendly! Great place would recommend! They are also gluten and dairy free and you wouldn’t even know it! The vibe of the place is a little quirky for a fried chicken place, but it’s still cool!
Today was my first time at Chicken Boy and I loved it! A friend recommended this place to me, and it was totally worth it. They offer good quality food, gluten free, they use tallow and it makes all the difference. I 100% recommend!

No seed oils! What?! They cook with tallow and you can tell - the taste is AMAZING! And we don’t feel gross afterwards. The decor is warm and welcoming, the vintage music is great and doesn’t make conversation difficult. I also appreciate that there aren’t TVs with overstimulating shows played everywhere. It made it a connecting family night out. The owner is a gem - so friendly.

I had the pleasure of visiting Chicken boy recently. I’m from SLC and don’t get to try GF fried chicken often. As someone with Celiac this was such an amazing experience. The owner was very kind and super accommodating. The chicken is WELL WORTH the 45 min drive. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!
The chicken is incredibly moist! We got the sticky tenders and they were super good. Loved the flavor and paired with the maple sauce it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend
My non gf wife says the chicken here is better than Chik-fil-a chicken.
I think it’s the best chicken in the state, with superb customer service. Owner is so friendly. Chicken is lightly gf breaded, great sizing. Nice light music, great atmosphere.

The best GF chicken ive ever had! Also just damn good chicken in general. Not flimsy pieces of chicken you get at most restaurants. I also really liked their country gravy. Staff was helpful and seemed like they were excited for us to be there.

So I realize that there has been a plethora of restaurants or gigs going on in this little shop for years, all have been somewhat successful and ended up closing down.
I remember swinging by and saw that it was open and was very skeptical, since there weren't a whole lot of reviews, but went in.
Ended up talking a bit with the owner who was very friendly, but from meeting him, he wasn't the restaurant type that I have prior experience and was even more skeptical but ordered my food to go.
I haven't like very much fried chicken because it's either too much breading or too dry of a cut that it is really hard to find the right stuff. This stuff is fantastic with the balance between the two differences aforementioned and was extremely well seasoned just on it's own. I realize as well after visiting that it is gluten free, which I didn't realize while eating but didn't even notice. The sauces are out of this world. Made specifically for good dippage and quite the fancy sauce for chicken , but I truly don't mind.
The fries were good, not much to write home about the coleslaw was definitely a step up from most with much more citrus and tangy flavor with a creamy finish.
Altogether with a drink the meal is a great value and would highly recommend trying it out. Not just for trying but to give this place some support.
I will say that the restaurant is a little in shambles but that because they were still setting up their store
