Cupbop - Korean BBQ in a Cup

I had a mixed experience at this Cupbop location. I placed my order for take-out, but things got mixed up, and I was given the wrong k-dog. I went back in to ask the staff to fix it, and they were kind enough to help me ensure it happened. I do appreciate that effort.

HOWEVER, while I was waiting for the new k-dog, I overheard the woman who appeared to be in charge (the manager, maybe) discussing the situation and blaming me for the mix-up. She claimed I must have mistakenly taken someone else’s order, which was not the case. My name was called, and I was handed a bag with the k-dog already in it—I did not randomly grab an order off the counter.

Her comments were unnecessary and unprofessional, and what bothered me even more was that the employee who made the mistake didn’t speak up to clarify the situation. While I understand that mistakes happen and was happy to wait for the correction, I did not expect to be blamed in the process.

Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I hope customer service and team communication improve in the future.

Not a fun place to dine in. It’s just so sterile and the bathroom stunk really really bad.

The food was good. My daughter got a veggie bob and enjoyed it.
