I heard legend of Whistle Wok, but only tried it for the first time today. Everyone was very patient with me despite my tourettes and the rice is the best I've ever had. I'm used to dry rice, but this was the perfect texture and super buttery. The cashew chicken was also a delight. Most restaurants use too much sauce, but this chicken was expertly spiced and balanced. The restaurant feels quaint, homey, vintage, and absolutely wonderful. My only recommendation is that...
4.5 stars - it’s a better Panda Express! The service was great. We liked the rice better than the noddles. We tried the sesame chicken, general tso chicken, and Mongolian pork. All were good. They were kind enough to get us fresh generals chicken instead of serving the stuff that looked like had been sitting for a while.
