“Unexpected treat off the beaten path. We stumbled upon this place one evening while on a road trip to meet up with friends. They serve regular pizza, curry, and curry pizza (which they are known for). We ordered the curry pizza and it was fantastic! We took leftovers to our friends, who also thought it was great. The atmosphere was very basic, but the staff was great even though they were packed that evening. We would totally stop by again when in the area!”

“The burger I had from Capitol Burger was absolutely delicious. Four of us scarfed down burgers and fries after a hike in the park and to say it hit the spot is an understatement. We made such happy noises while eating that our neighbor at the campsite asked us where we had gotten the food 😆 Don’t miss this gem- incredible food, reasonably priced, friendly service. I only wish the owners at Capitol Burger would bring their truck to Zion (where we live!)”

“I'm vegetarian, and I was unaware one of the items came with meat as the menu did not state that, so naturally, I found myself surprised when I found chicken in my pasta. But when I informed Channis about the mistake, she respectfully understood my situation and redid my order with kindness.

“We were on our way to Capitol Reef National park. My spouse and I needed a little num num to tide us over. We found soda pipeline by accident. We could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The Chicago dogs were excellent. Terry and Emma were absolutely wonderful to us. If you are on 300 South look for the red Phone Booth along with the double decker bus. You will not be disappointed.”

“We saw on maps that this place had burgers and shakes, and that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. They still have nachos, pulled pork sandwiches, and some other items but it was a disappointment when that's what we were really craving. We ended up getting some dirty sodas anyway, and they were good. The person working the counter was very understanding and nice, I think it just recently changed ownership and certainly changed its main offerings. Not bad just not what we were expecting!”

“It was a jewel of a stop! My Caesar’s Salad was outstanding- fresh and I swear the dressing tasted home made. The poppers were a fun start- yummy and served with fresh crispy celery. The tomato bisque was tasty! I tasted garlic and another spice I cannot put my finger upon. And the South west wrap was delicious as well- Bbq tastes home made. Good selection of beers . Will return to try the pizza and the cauliflower steak.”

“Don’t understand why a few people gave low ratings. Do understand the the vast majority of 5 star ratings. This food was delicious. Good portions, fresh. Great service (Vincent). Short wait before served. Reasonable prices. Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll be in good shape and in need of a bigger space.”

“Great surprise in a remote location. Located in a convenience store so you can get other stuff. They had fresh veggies for the sandwiches even though they have to bring them from Salt Lake City. Open late. Great service.”

“I didn’t have high expectations for The Rock Garden Eatery but Torrey is a very small town with limited eating options for a vegetarian and they did have a few vegetarian dishes.
I was very pleasantly surprised!!!
Staff were charming and the food excellent.
My hummus was very tasty and served with tons of pitta bread.
My quinoa salad had an excellent dressing and stuffed full of avocado, chopped cucumber, peppers, tomatoes and onions.
Really pleased I gave it a try.”

“The best gluten free burger ever! If my husband hadn’t had a regular bun right next to me I would never believed it was gluten free! Perfectly toasted, crispy bacon, melty cheese, amazing patties! YUM”
