With Hell's Backbone Grill just down the road, the gold medal is gone and other restaurants are just in competition for second place. That said, Sweetwater Kitchen is a fine place and a worthy contender. I went there twice for dinner during recent time in the area. I've had dinner here several years in a row. I don't know what changed but our dinner here this time was a step up and quite good. I recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
The meal I had here was one of the best I’ve ever had! It’s so cozy inside, and we ended up last minute booking a stay at the attached lodge which was the best time! Highly recommend both!
