“I’m Thai and I would rate this restaurant pretty high on the food rating scale. I wouldn’t say their foods are exactly like in Thailand but I would say it’s quite closer than many restaurant. I tried drunken noodles, Chicken satay, and Kao Soi. Drunken noodles were good—slightly sweeter than authentic version but not overly sweet. Spicy level 4 is also good for a Thai person like me. Chicken satay was good. The chicken was tender and the peanut sauce tasted good. Kao Soi isn’t exactly authentic but that’s hard to find even in Thailand. This one is close enough, but you will need to add the roasted chili paste (which was on the table) then the flavors came together. I also got Nam Tok beef to go and it was pretty good, not spicy though so I added a bunch of chili flakes I have at home. The place is clean. The servers though were not super friendly. They were not rude by any means, but I didn’t feel welcomed—it’s just like they are hired to take order, bring foods, clean the table and not to please customers. It’s fine, but I think if they are a bit friendlier, this restaurant can become even better than how they are now. I will probably be back since it’s not far from my office“

“I visited Hart Yai Thai Express with my friend, and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious and tasted just like real Thai food in Thailand. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Thai taste.
The service was excellent, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food or wants to try authentic Thai cuisine. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for the wonderful food and great service! 🇹🇭❤“

“I love solo dining, and do it relatively often. But it’s uncommon for me to be SO impressed. My god the flavor is amazing. Best meal I’ve had in a long time. I got the Panang Pla, which is “Deep fried salmon topped with red or green curry sauce cooked with coconut milk, onions, bell peppers and basil”. Perfect middle of a weekday. 🤌“

“My gf and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant last night and were fortunate to find this place. Our meal was amazing- she got the Pon Pon Chicken dinner and I had the Mongolian beef. It was hot , fresh and way above our expectations. The cream cheese wontons were fantastic- definitely not the frozen ones we’ve had elsewhere. We both highly recommend Mountain City!!“

“It's a little confusing that the pho place is inside a restaurant with a different name (Saola), but the pho was excellent, and they had a ton of options of things to add to it. They make fried dough sticks here, and they are so good dipped in broth!“

“I decided to come here because my friend’s family runs this restaurant. I would love to give this place a five out of five but I want to be honest and so I will give it 4 stars.

1. I think the food is wonderful here, but it is a bit oily from a lot of deep frying. One thing I noticed is that there is a LOT of food options in the menu and I feel like having that many options for not very many customers would tank the revenue, but I am not all that familiar in cooking.

2. The atmosphere there was nice but not the best, and I understand that it can be hard to manage things with just your family. I feel like some lights could do some fixing, and some parts could done cleaning but overall, it felt nice.

3. I know from my friend that only his family runs this restaurant. That is only four people in total. That isn’t very many people for a restaurant and I feel like if they got better at handling customers then it would be a lot more enjoyable experience for others.

In the end, I think that this place has a lot of potential to become great, but for now it is just good. If you want a good fast experience I recommend coming here around mid afternoon.“

“Maddy is an excellent worker, outstanding customer service, she has amazing multitasking skills, and deserves the best. I have hearing aids and a learning disability so I’m able to notice someone’s hard work and my surroundings right away.

I was there for 10 mins and noticed how well she handles the register, making the two meals, and making sure the customers were taken care of in the lobby. She was the only person working and handling everything on her own.
