They advertise they’re open till nine but you better be there by eight or you’ll get locked out. I’ve been there several times hoping to eat and the place was locked up by 8:30.
I really like their food but it’s always ridiculously busy. I waited at the drive thru for over 10 min and not one word was said. I also drove up to the window, employees were there at the window and saw me and never acknowledged me. Terrible service. Maybe hire more people..
I'm not from Ephraim, but was in town for a family wedding reception. I went to The Malt Shop with my daughter, her husband, and their kids. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and they were busy on a Saturday. The atmosphere was that of a 1950s diner. They have a fairly broad menu for food, and the shakes were really good too.
