Food was good, nothing special. We had burgers and shakes, vanilla bean was the best ice-cream.

We stayed in town and wanted a cheaper bite to eat. This was perfect! I am a pescatarian ( only meat I eat is fish) and I got the veggie quinoa burger with sweet potato fries. Delicious!
After backpacking and slot canyons, Nemo’s was just what we needed. Awesome burger, fries and shakes!! Don’t skip if you are hungry and in the area.

The BEST cheeseburger basket - so many fries - that we've had in a long time. Seriously, so good! Maybe we thought it was so good because we just hiked Peekaboo+Spooky, but I snarfed my basket down. I'm a big French Fry girl and there were so many, I actually couldn't eat them all. And didn't get me started on the ice cream. Delish!

Their burger was just…….disappointing. The meat was high quality, but there was just no flavor except grill char (which I’m usually a fan of). The lettuce, onion, and tomatoes were tasteless, and I couldn’t taste any sauce. A basic burger like the one I ordered isn’t rocket science, especially if I’m paying $10 for one. I’m just so disappointed.

Great food in one of the most interesting and remote towns in Utah. The food was fresh, high quality and delicious. And reasonably priced, considering the location. Had to wait a few minutes, but like the sign says, "if you're looking for fast food, McD's is 120 miles that way". And the wait really wasn't very long - less than 10 minutes.

When we visited, my burger was raw in the middle, and despite a "refire" where they made me a new one, the second one was the same. Very disappointed, and they seemed to not care at all that this was a health hazard and NOT something that their restaurant should be putting out. Shakes and Fries were good though.

Makes me want to move to Escalante so I can eat Nemo's
The food was disappointing. The fries tasted like they came from the frozen section of the grocery store and the burgers were plain. They also have flashing lights after dark which were strobing so fast that I got a headache.

We visited Escalante at the beginning of March which is a slow season for the town, so only a few restaurants were open. Nemo’s is a classic old school drive-thru/walk up burger place. I order the Nemo Burger and it wasn’t anything impressive honestly. The fries were pretty good. My wife ordered the sweet potato fries and those were actually super good. We loved those. This place is a decent option for what they had open, we weren’t mad about it.
Not much going on here in off season, only a few committed hikers and therefore pretty much all of the food establishments were closed on a Saturday afternoon and evening here in Escalante. This is all except Nemo's that had one person working so you better be patient. To further this thought, a sign in the window told patrons that if you want it fast, McDonalds was 140 miles West! There were two groups in front of us so it was about a 25 min wait wishing I had a six pack handy! The food arrived, a 1/4 pound bacon cheeseburger with fries and onion rings ala carte. Also had the 1/3 pound Bison cheeseburger and fries plus two shakes. Both burgers and fries were great, lettuce, tomato complemented the burgers. Onion Rings were also good and shakes were more like soft serve in a cup, needed a spoon to enjoy. The cost of this sit outside establishment was not cheap coming in at $53.00 for two. I might come back but would likely try other places once they open in the spring. Sorry, no pics, too hungry after a day hiking and eating in the truck with the food in my lap!
