Visiting from Alabama and, having never even heard of this place before, took a chance on it. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was so fresh and delicious and the servers were very helpful with our questions. I LOVED the sweet pork burrito and my husband loved his tacos. Definitely recommend!
The sweet pork at this Costa is amazing. It is a gas station stop, so the atmosphere can get 5 stars, but the tacos are fabulous. If you are traveling through Fillmore and are in the mood for food, stop at this Costa Vida. You won't be disappointed.
Staff friendly but I didn't like the fact that the MANAGER was chewing her gum with her mouth open while preparing plates. I first thought she was eating from the prep table to then notice it was gum as she opened and closed her mouth. That is so unprofessional as well a turn off! I noticed how another customer looked at her in somewhat disgust as well. Ruler #1 never let the customer see you eating while preparing their food even if it's gum. I was waiting for spit...
