It's a must try when you're driving north or south along the i15. The carne asada is excellent. I also like the shrimp burritos

Just a fun place. Love how it was run by the family who lives in the house next door. The food was very authentic. There's no table to eat at, there are a few chairs in front of the place. So there's not really an atmosphere, you're just outside. But on a nice day It works out well.

Sat down expecting great food and service according to reviews. Ordered drinks, one with a lime that didn’t come so hubs asked again, and she brought a lemon. I ordered beef nachos that were cold to the touch on the outside and cheese was already cooling. Not much meat, and not hot, but tasty. She never brought the soup my hubs ordered and had to have it taken off the check. Never came back to check on us and with no one else around and plates piled at the end of the table, she stood there drinking her beverage at the counter. Horrible server ok food, great sauces. Maybe needs another go but since we are passing through, wouldn’t dream of it.

**Disappointing Experience at Local Mexican Restaurant**

Oh yeah there is no free chips and salsa, if you want it you pay for it

We were excited to try this highly recommended local Mexican restaurant, eager to support a mom-and-pop establishment. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected.

When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, yet it took 20 minutes for our server to take our order and another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The service was lacking; both the waiter and another staff member seemed clueless about managing the tables. We had to flag them down several times for water and other necessities.

The guacamole was the only highlight of our meal. We ordered Carne asada fries and burritos, neither of which were worth the price. The restaurant was also uncomfortably hot and muggy. Despite our request to turn up the AC, it remained warm in the back, though noticeably cooler at the front.

So, would not return to this restaurant. If you do decide to visit, we recommend sitting at the front where it's cooler. ?

Love the clam chowder. You can even see the clams. If you're very hungry try the bread bowl.

We were on a road trip, and my wife mentioned this place had great ratings, so we stopped. We don't regret it one bit. The food was fantastic—especially the birria and chili relleno. We'll be back soon.

A good place to enjoy your lunch, my wife ordered the plate of stuffed chile, rice, beans and salad ??? It was delicious and I ordered some birria tacos with consommé ?? the best I've eaten here in the USA ??

The restaurant is very cozy, very clean and the staff is very attentive ? ? % recommended!!

If your driving through Fillmore, this place is seriously sooo good! A little slow, but totally worth it. Their sauces is what makes it good, and their beans are fire. Get the guac.

This Mexican place was a wonderful surprise! We stopped on our driving trip and we’re glad we did. My husband had the quesa birria tacos which were fantastic. I had the chili relleno which was tasty. Will definitely stop there again on our way to St George!
