Tamarisk Restaurant Reviews
Thankfully just passing through. When my service dog alerted, we were asked to remove him for barking. When we asked for a check we were told it was Utah state law that because we ordered a beer with dinner we must eat there. They wouldn't bring our check or boxes when we asked for them. And this was after we took our dog out.

Food was awesome. We had the country fried steak and the fried chicken. Anna was our waitress and was phenomenal. Highly recommend

Tamarisk Restaurant offers delicious meals like Navajo Taco Chicken Salad, Navajo bread, hamburger, pancakes, T-roll, bacon, eggs, Southwest Navajo Flatbread, street tacos, and cinnamon rolls. Guests can enjoy the flavorful steak, although some have noted it may need trimming. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a nice view of the Green River, where diners can sit by the window overlooking the scenic mesa. Ample parking for RVs and motorhomes is available. The staff is known for being very kind, welcoming, and attentive, providing excellent service even during busy times. Many guests have praised the delicious food and large portions, which are also affordable. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender, and the variety of sides is impressive. The Navajo fry bread is a favorite among many, with one guest noting it was cooked perfectly, crispy on the bottom without any doughiness in the middle. The bacon is done just right, and the breakfast burrito is described as HUGE. This restaurant is truly a great stop along the route between Las Vegas and Grand Junction, making it a wonderful dining experience.
