Not sure why people are criticizing the service. We sat outside with our dogs and found the service to be great! Server checked on us the perfect amount of times and got our doggies some water. Burgers are soooooo good with an amazing selection of beers. Wil def be back!

Overpriced.
The garlic burger was $16, reminded me of a more dolled up version of what you would get at a school cafeteria. The meat looked like it was steamed with not a lot of charring on it. It came with a bag of chips, I feel for $16 you should probably get a small side of fries at least. The bun was interesting it wasn't bad, wasn't amazing, kinda flimsy.
The chili fries were good, good portion size. I wish the cheese on top would have been melted though.
The bar itself was cool, good vibes decent service.
Would maybe pop in for a drink but probably would go to somewhere else if you are craving a burger.

People go there because it's been there so long, but that's not a guarantee. The 20yos in the back think they're working at a biker bar or something. I didn't want to leave a bas review, so I checked the recent reviews to see if it was fluke. Dishwashers and cooks apparently being rude to people for some reason. It was bizarre. Except Jazz. They guy's great.

This was an awesome experience. We had a large group for lunch, some of us drink and some don't but the atmosphere was a lot of fun! We were seated quickly and served just as quickly. Their garlic burgers and fries are amazing, some had sandwiches and a Greek salad...it was all very good food and a great place to spend time with family.
Parking: Parking was very difficult to find, the place was packed but worth waiting for parking spaces to open up.
Wheelchair accessibility: You wouldn't want to try to go inside w/wheelchair but outside in their patio with nice weather was awesome...patio is level with the parking lot.

The Cotton Bottom is somewhat of an institution. It has been in the same location for years, but received a facelift about 15 years ago. The outdoor seating is lovely. It is primarily a bar, the menu is limited, but quite good. Be sure to try the garlic burger that is what they are famous for. I like that they have you get your own water so that way I’m never thirsty.

This place is always the bomb! Their garlic burgers are the best on the Wasatch front. It’s a cute little bar in a beautiful area of Salt Lake City. When the weather allows, it’s pretty sweet to sit outside, have a drink and a burger. When it’s inclement weather, the inside area is small and tends to get pretty busy.
Parking: Parking lot is on the smaller side. Can get full when they are busy.
Wheelchair accessibility: A bit difficult to maneuver around this area
