I had also been looking to try some tinned fish but had always been hesitant without any good guidance. I asked for some help and once again they delivered. I wish I could remember his name but was very knowledgeable and helped me put together a sampler.

“We searched this place up on Google, walked up to it to second guess it from the outside, but I'm so glad me and my kids still decided to come on and try it, it is seriously so good. It is high quality made, not from a can or processing bag. I had the chicken noodle and it's made from scratch. They even served a fresh piece of forcassia bread. “This shop has a fun and artsy vibe. Great arrangement of local and imported products (many from Italy). It’s a good time just walking around and seeing what’s for sale.

I’ve eaten here a few times, and I’ve liked it overall. The muffuletta was delicious, as was the hot pastrami. Due to the nature of the pastrami sandwich, it does not hold or travel well. I recommend that for dine-in. The salads were meh and a little dry (the antipasto, Greek, caprese) and I wouldn’t get again.

I will come back! Good high quality olive oils and chocolates, too, sold here.

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I was trying to find a restaurant that would be willing to accommodate a group of eight with outdoor seating for lunch with a confirmed reservation. My party included an 80 year old, and someone in a wheelchair. Accessibility and a limited wait was important. I was thrilled to learn the manager at Cucina was willing to put a reserved sign on one of the outdoor tables for us. When I arrived a few days later the majority of the tables had umbrellas set up but ours did not so I went inside to ask if they would be willing to set one up for us. Within earshot I heard who I assume to be the manager tell the nice young man at the register that our group does not get any “special treatment” (since they don’t typically take reservations per se). So completely rude and so irresponsible to say where I could hear it. The woman taking the orders at the counter was impatient, unhelpful and not necessarily kind or pleasant. Her responses to my aunts’ questions were snarky. The young man working the register was really nice. The food was pretty good. I will never visit this restaurant again and certainly wouldn’t plan a big family birthday lunch here again. Disappointed to say the least.“
