I absolutely love The Bagel Project. Their bagels are truly outstanding. I can easily compare their products to the ones I’ve eaten on the East Coast and in Israel, and that says a lot. Every time I go back, I’m never disappointed. The texture, the chew, the flavor… they get it right.

I would love to see even more flavors, maybe with an extra hint of the Middle East. How about a thick layer of za’atar on a fresh bagel? That would be incredible!

Just as Russ noted 5 MONTHS ago - slow service. It took almost 40 minutes to receive a bagel toasted with cream cheese - canceled the order. When asked about status the staff member gave us attitude and said other people were waiting too - we were 5th in the queue.
The management of Bagel Project needs to completely overhaul this location - improve the ambiance, find friendly, professional staff, and upgrade the bagels from stale to fresh. Until then, we won't be back.

Went to this place because my fav bagel place was closed. Asked him to toast my bagels and they were cold. The Sandwhich I got was pretty mid, very little egg and the bagel was very hard. If you’re looking for Mediocre bagels go here. If you want one of the best bagels go to Riches Bagels. Trust me real one’s know. You will not be disappointed. Hope this helps

This is the best bagel place!! I can not recommend them enough. The people are so kind and the lox bagel I had was superb! If you are ever traveling to salt lake and are looking for a place to grab a quick bagel or a dozen this is THE SPOT !

Anyone who gave a negative review was having a bad day. Make no mistake, this is one of the best bagels I've ever had, definitely the best in the Salt Lake Valley. Genuinely surprised there isn't a line out the door at open.

Food great, atmosphere, very modern New York vibe. Decor is eclectic and minimal, and the food is positively fabulous.

The bagels are just as good as the original location! Staff were friendly and it was a good environment to get some work done on a weekend.

I LOVE the bagels at The Bagel Project in their downtown location, and was looking forward to the same experience when I ventured into this Holladay location— not so, unfortunately.

Not only did the staff seem to scoff when being asked for recommendations, they seemed generally upset to be there. When asked whether a certain special of theirs is best toasted or not-toasted, I was met with “um? It depends on if you like hot or cold… your preference.”

Ambiance seems stale with uneven metal chairs that rock and clack on the cement ground.

The bagels are great as normal, so that’s something.

food is good. 30 bucks for two bagels and a coffee. terrible service. cashiers clearly underpaid and don’t give a shit about you. Wish I could rescind my tip
