“It was a good experience coming with a group of 6 after a long hike. Like others mentioned the food is decent. I enjoyed my salad. The burger was okay but the fries were really good imo. Nobody in the group wanted to order the tacos because they felt it was overpriced compared to authentic tacos but I’m glad there is a restaurant close enough to serve us after a long active day. Service was good, staff seemed friendly and great outdoor seating with a view.“

“The Needles Lodge looks like a five star luxury resort with ornate gold platinum lampshades and big wooden beams and huge glass windows and it’s a pleasure to be in however the food is pretty basic. It’s good for families and quick homely snacks such as burgers and chilli bread bowls . If we have paid $162 and that’s with a discount to go skiing for one day you’d expect the food service that’s slightly higher quality. however the setting is really nice and pretty if I was a resort owners I would get a new food third-party company in. However, the snow melt spiked 5% does help. It was a lovely venue and great for families. The staff were really nice and lots of people around cleaning the tables. So well done there. Unfortunately the food quality could do with a little improvement. But I would return.“

“Been going every year for 3 years for spartan race. Always a beautiful place to go to and atmosphere is always great. Service was pretty good. Food was good as well but not great and unfortunately the cooler for drinks was broken so drinks were hot. But they did provide cups for ice.“

“My wife and I went for a drive in the mountains and stopped here for breakfast. It was delicious with a homemade feel. The gals working were fun and welcoming. The scone was to die for. It has an ice cream size scoop of honey butter on it. I would recommend sills to anyone.“
