Aragosta is definitely the best restaurant in Southern Utah with many awards to back that claim.
My wife and I had our wedding dinner here and just had our first year anniversary celebration as well. We plan on coming back every year.
Chef Imi is a very talented chef with so much passion put into each dish it is inspiring. He is also extremely hospitable, coming out to greet the guests multiple times as well as even remembering my wife and is anniversary.
For starters I recommend the burrata, it is fresh and flavorful and a great way to start the night.
The lobster bisque is also an amazing starter with subtle but intentional taste.
As for the main course you can’t go wrong with any of the meats but a few I recommend are the chateaubriand with the Cabernet sauce. The sauce is mild yet flavorful and pairs extremely well with both the steak and the vegetables; both of which are cooked to perfection.
For meats I also recommend the braised short rib, or rack of lamb.
Another entree we are in love with is the four cheese & pear fiocchi. When it is on the menu definitely be sure to order it.
Lastly the Sticky Toffee Pudding cake was the perfect desert to finish our meal.
Overall, I recommend Aragosta to anyone looking for a nice night out and amazing food.
Came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it did not disappoint! I had requested a small vegan dessert and the chef thoughtfully prepared one complimentary. I was really impressed with the food plating, and the service was excellent. My husband felt really special, thank you for the extra effort!
Amazing food and service. Our group ordered and shared several dishes and desserts. Everything was amazing. Thank you for the wonderful evening.
I got the Beef Wellington and my wife got the risotto with prawns. Both dishes were delicious! I will definitely be going back when we are in the neighborhood.
From the 5 star reviews we expected a good experience - if you don't read any further, I will summarize by saying the food we were served was mediocre in taste and presentation, and lacked any sense of passion from the kitchen. The best way to describe the experience was - mid-range cruise ship fare - designed for the 75+ age crowd. We knew we were in for an experience different than what we expected when the bread arrived - stale, small, and no butter, and not warmed. The wine we ordered - a pedestrian La Crema chardonnay - was out. The escargot was served out of the shell and lacked flavor, the shrimp cocktail sauce was bland. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli - lacked seasoning and the sauce was lackluster as well. I ordered the special - truffle risotto - I'm going to guess this was not prepared with truffles but truffle oil, which actually has no truffle in it. Had it been made with actual truffles, it would have been obvious. The meal was so disappointing we left and found another restaurant in town for dessert. For the aspects of this place beyond the food: Service was average, not attentive, and servers had to wear 1990's vests, just very odd.
The decor has no central theme. Yet, when you walk in, there are lots of reminders that this is an award winning restaurant. If you are not local to St. George and you have experienced fine dining, you will be disappointed. If the food and menu was ever high quality, those days have passed. We spent a lot of money of food we didn't really enjoy or finish.
This is by far our favorite restaurant in St. George. If you get a chance to go do it you will not be disappointed.
Amazed at how the dishes are presented here. Service is personable, food is incredible and you can really tell the care that’s put into the operation. 100% recommend!
Another amazing dinner at Aragosta with Chef Imi. We celebrated my husband's birthday. There is no better way to celebrate a big event than dinner at Aragosta. The meal was perfect. The service stellar as always. And Chef always comes out to say hello which makes us feel special. We never miss a chance to have dinner here when in town.
We spent Thanksgiving there this year and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming and the food was very good. Our waitress was so friendly and the host was very charming and engaging. Make sure to try the hibiscus cider!
The food is amazing and the presentation is gorgeous! The food is unsurpassed by any other restaurant around. The staff is courteous and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. Thanks to the chef, who stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. One of the best dining experiences ever.

Our favorite St. George restaurant. Love the lamb osso buco. A great experience with wonderful service.
We wanted to celebrate my parents' 60th anniversary somewhere awesome, and of course Aragosta was our first choice. We had a big party, over 30 guests and it was incredible! Chef Imi is amazing and crafted a custom menu for our guests to pick from. His team during the party was fabulous and so kind and helpful.
And the food - WOW! The appetizer platters were fantastic. Each entree was both gorgeous and delicious and it was so great that each guest was able to select their choice. Finally, when the dessert trays came out, our guests literally gasped in delight, and promptly devoured all the goodness!
Chef Imi prepared special meals for my Mom and Dad and a special anniversary cake just for them. They had such a great time and it was such a wonderful celebration. Truly memorable and we are still basking in the happy memories.
If you want something special and really, really memorable, then Trust Chef Imi and Aragosta!

While visiting in St. George, we met a gentleman and asked his opinion as to the best restaurant in town. There was no hesitation when he told us that Aragosta was the best. We immediately made reservations. Our experience was better than expected.
When we arrived, we were immediately seated and quickly greeted by Chef Imi, who made us feel very welcome in his restaurant. We were pleased with his personal attention during the evening.
The food was superb. The red pepper gouda soup was so tasty that I could have made it my full meal! My salmon was cooked perfectly, exactly the way I prefer it. My wife enjoyed her pan-seared sea bass as well. Each entree was presented with an eye-pleasing vegetable medley.
When in St. George, Aragosta is a must visit restaurant. My sincere compliments to Chef Imi and his staff.
