Overall, the restaurant is interesting. What I didn't like was that I ordered wings, and they were delicious, but they came with fresh lettuce or vegetables, and they were frozen. I also ordered a salad, and it also had frozen lettuce, and it was served on a small plate, so I couldn't mix the salad with the dressing.

I wish I could give this restaurant a better review, but we were disappointed. The ribs were passable. The smoked chicken thighs desperately needed salt and spices (and were boneless - what BBQ place uses boneless chicken?). The cornbread was dry and mealy. The onion rings, however, were excellent. We enjoyed the live music. (It was a Saturday night.)

The food we had at Iron Horse is not 4.1 quality that we expected. I had a cheeseburger…that had no flavor at all. My husband had the Cattle Driver which was ribs and a chicken thigh. His review: Meh. They didn’t have enough help to clear the tables, so when you looked around the place, almost every table was full of dirty dishes…not the biggest deal if the food had been great, but it was not. We are very disappointed that we made this a stop on our vacation to Utah.

Duane our server was amazing, went for lunch with my boyfriends family and he made our meal and day amazing. He was super nice, friendly and kind. The fish and chips was incredible, the mac and cheese, cowboy beans, pulled pork. Everything was amazing. Totally recommend 10/10

I went on my birthday as I was hoping for a steak. What they served was anything but. I ordered it medium. It came out medium but no juices, no flavor, hard to cut, harder to chew. I attempted to eat it since it cost $45 but left over half of it sitting there. As my husband put it, don't feed it to your dog unless you don't like him. The waitress was very kind, said she would comp it but the bill came and still paid full price. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.

A group of 16 came to this restaurant to have dinner. My wife and I ordered their special for the evening, Chicken Fried Steak (CFS) with mashed potatoes, cream gravy (?), and corn. The chicken fried steak was full of grizzle and we both were only able to eat less than half. It was difficult to find any piece of the CFS that was absent of the grizzle.
We had a young lady that served us. She was pleasant and took our order in a timely manner. But the food took a bit to reach our table. What they call cream gravy is not what cream gravy is jn anywhere in Texas. Okay, it’s a bit different that what I was accustomed to but we were hungry. I asked for a piece of cornbread and asked again when it was obvious she did not remember to bring me any. She never offered a refill for my sweet tea. I explained to her our experience with the CFS and was offered only that she would speak to the kitchen.
The atmosphere was nice but the experience we were having with the food unable us to really appreciate the environment.

This place is great! Smoked BBQ very tasty, close to the EV chargers in town, dog friendly, and Duane was a super attentive and friendly server. Definitely recommend to anyone coming to Kanab or passing through!
