Sat in line tonight for 45 min!!! Waiting for two vanilla custards with brownie and peanut butter on top. Had 4 different high school age kids come to the window every 10 min giving me an order that wasn’t mine. I finally asked to talk to someone who wasn’t in high school so I could get my ice cream and go and the kid said it was only high schoolers tonight. We love Nielsens custard but it was a nightmare tonight.
The best ice cream, ever! Hands down. It's so smooth and the perfect thickness. I would love to know how to make ice cream this good. If you have never been, you should definitely give it a try. I bet you will think it's the best ice cream you have ever had.

Stopped in for a custard earlier today and got more than just dessert. The young man at the counter was kind, quick, and had a great smile—stood out to me after 40 years in dentistry. We even shared a quick laugh about him wearing a retainer. The place was spotless, the service fast, and the custard smooth as ever. Nielsen’s gets it right—quality product, quality people.
