I've always loved this place and was able to support them by having my office holiday dinner at the Midvale location. Cristiam and Angel took such great care of us, patiently explaining the dishes and we all LOVED the food (as did my kid, who had leftovers for breakfast!). The arepas and empanadas would make a great, quick, eat-on-the-road lunch, while I enjoyed the Carne Asada & Cheese Cachapas as a plated meal.

The folks at the Midvale Arempas are great. Very friendly staff who make you feel like family, and the food is awesome. The restaurant is nice and clean. The pabellon empanada is what angels, unicorns, and elves eat when they're passing through. Try the chimichurri with the garlic or avocado sauce if you like a little kick. Super good.

It gets super noisy on Friday and Saturday nights when the bar get hopping. Like waaaay too loud to have a conversation. Probably the reason the restaurant is almost always empty those nights.
