“Don't be intimidated by the fact that it's also a market and a tailor, and their unlit sign is hard to see after sunset. This is not only the best Somali food, and one of the best African restaurants in SLC, imho it's one of the best restaurants, period, and I'm sad it took me until I was leaving to discover it.The tenderest goat I have ever had, fall off the bone, moist, unctuous and fatty (in a good way), not tough or chewy or dry.Pasta was al dente, and made when I ordered, not sitting around precooked all day. The sauce was flavorful, with diced potato and ground meat, and spooned on top rather than tossed together, as is my preference. My only complaint is I wish they gave you more of it!The woman who cooked it was super nice. In fact everyone there was warm and welcoming.“

“Absolutely delicious food, and huge portions for a very reasonable price. I had the ground beef kebabs with rice, salad, and fresh pita. The kebabs were very mildly spiced, as was the rice. The pita was the real star of the show, though. It was fluffy, hot from the oven, and I could have eaten several more pieces. I will definitely be back!“

“The best kabob i really had it was so tempting and flavorful the pieces of meat was exactly on the point such a decent flavor and the front desk server seems so attentive and cute she gave me the option to choose the sides which was so easy for me to get the things right honestly they serve everything so quickly whenever we visit the mall we will definitely hit a next try delicious... !!!“
