Recently customer service has improved alongside food quality. It appears management has made recent improvements. Despite entry-level employees the customer-facing crew is professional, patient, and courteous despite some of the most annoying, trashy, and parasitic customers coming through and demanding extra portions at every serving and wasting the resources of both customers and the business. I'm pretty impressed by their performance lately.
I have always loved cafe rio for the taste, quality, portions and friendly staff, so needless to say I was very excited when I moved and realized there was one like 2 blocks away. But this location is so terrible and I've finally had enough.
I have been ordering and picking up from here 2 to 3 times per month. and aside from 2 instances it has always been something. Food missing, wrong, or under/over cooked. But the most consistent thing is the rude, apathetic employees!...

The staff here is literally amazing! Lilyauna and the really nice girl with the black hair (so sorry i didnt get your name!) are always so so sweet. Whenever they are working, my order is always made perfectly and their smiles and positive attitudes make my cafe rio stop the best night of the week. Thanks ladies for being so kind ❤️
