My husband had a burger & fries, I had salmon with mac & cheese. Everything was great, expert the mac & cheese. It had little to no cheese and no flavor. Next time I'll stick with the mashed potatoes.“

“Our new go-to wing place in Sugarhouse. The spice levels just increase the amount of cayenne pepper. To really kick it up add ghost pepper or reaper to any of the wet sauces! Don't skimp out on the habanero ranch for dipping those cajun waffle fries in. Yum!“

“Came here for NYE. They were charging a $20 cover charge, which is pretty steep; however, this was waived if you have a reservation. We had a reservation for later at night but were allowed to hang around until later, which was nice. It was probably one of their busiest nights, so it was packed, but the vibe was great. They had a DJ playing great sets and then a band closer to 10pm. It was quite challenging to order drinks due to the long lines, but it was understandable because the bartenders were swamped (this was even the case if you were seated at the bar). The main bar seemed reasonable, but their window had outrageous prices (probably scaled up for NYE). Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but I recommend making a reservation for events ahead of time to avoid a cover charge.

“We came in had a 30 minute wait. Got on the list and waited longer and they said we already called you and didn’t even offer us the next seats. They just looked at us like see you .later. Horrible service. I will never go there again.
**Update** A manager contacted me to discuss my review. I gave her all of the details and she apologized and invited us back with a gift card. I told her I didn’t want anything, I just wanted to be heard and to let those workers know how their customer service needs to be improved. She offered us the gift card to “make things right”. I appreciate her sincerity and will try again in the near future.“

“This was my go to spot when I lived in Utah for a year doing a project for eBay. I was there at least 4 days per week. Great beer selection, good food. I got to know the manager and he even ordered one of my favorite specialty craft beers to keep on hand just for me. It has been awhile but I would go back anytime I am in the area.“

“On standby for a late flight and needed to find a place to pass the time Kyle the Bar tender was more than attentive and provided phenomenal service.Fish tacos are doable although not grilled fish they were super delicious.Highly recommend the quesadillas with the Hop Rising IPA.If staying up n the hotel area this is the spot in additional to the local Indian @Radwadi Indian restaurant located nearby.Worth it!“

“This place is a great bar for pool and chill vibes. They have yummy food and drinks as well as great servers! My only complaint is the worker named VIC. He is very standoffish, rude, and has made several inappropriate comments towards me and my girlfriends. If I could file a complain to HR about him I would. But since I can’t. “I Had a dinner In at this A Bar Named Sue. Very delicious range of foods menu to select from and food service was incredible and atmosphere was a little bit more complex with some noisy musical activity but slightly entertaining the guests and customers. I enjoyed dinner with the food and employees were very nice and friendly. I also had awesome red wine and you can see in the picture very clearly nice to recommend this Bar.

“I came here for the first time and they were doing Karaoke (DeAnn the karaoke host was so much fun!) They are so much kinder and warmer than the cheers in downtown. Dowtown place can get a little too crazy and even if their staff screws up or something- it's always the customer's fault! As of this location, their hospitality is 100% waaaaaayyy better.. “The atmosphere was great… Tracy was running crazy while the Burnett server was talking to friends. The door guy sat on his phone and feel he could if maybe stepped in and helped a little. Over all great place but suggest going on a night Tracy is serving.. she is tentative and friendly. Patrons are great..food was fantastic! “I will start by saying we love The Break, the food is amazing, top notch, and we go before every hockey game. I think management needs to know tonight they missed the mark in regards to service by a lot. I arrived at 5:40, by 6:00 I was in search to find out who our server was as no one had stopped by the table. 30+ minutes after my arrival at 6:15 she arrived. I ordered our drinks AND meals but before I did, I asked how long she expected the food to arrive since we were going to the game. Side note tonight was not half as busy as other nights we have been here. She said that the food would be out in 20 minutes so we decided to stay. 6:40, an hour after arrival and our drinks are finally served. At 7:00 my husbands meal is served, 45 minutes after the order was placed. At 7:10 we had to find someone to ask about mine because by that time he is half done eating his meal and I still don’t have mine. Needless to say I was pretty upset as we had now missed the entire first period of the hockey game by the time we left.“

“my Fiance, who has lived his entire life in the area told me this was a vegan place. so, that is a very important piece of why I never tried here before (I can't eat tofu and coconut oil, not that im diametrically opposed). so I am ill, and my vehicle is in the shop and I just wanted some good old dinner breakfast. scrolling through options on door dash, the first picture of this place was some scrapple cheese thing, but as I was under the assumption this was Vegan food, I clicked through to see what tofu monstrosity this was. only to see that said Fiancee was incorrect, and they're a real grill. I ended up ordering a make.your own sandwich with hash, mushroom soup and fries with their chip mayo. I'm still sick, but everything hit the spot and I can't wait to go there in person with Fiancée who I raved about the food when he got home“
