The Guinness was cold and we had a great time watching a few different sports events at the same time. Solid recommend for a Local sports bar pub. Also a great back deck for outdoor entertainment.“

“I had 2 appetizers for my lunch. The Onion rings and the Buffalo wings onion rings were awesome. They give you barbecue sauce with them. And that's really a good combination, and the boneless Buffalo wings and they were very tasty as well. The waitress I got was really nice and took care of me.“

We sat at the bar. The bartender was very polite and helped us lightning fast. She brought out the food piping hot and make great drinks!
I was also very happy with the prices. After seeing the price of beer and cocktails at chilli's it was very refreshing to have $5 beers and $8 candy-like cocktail slushies!

“This was our first time trying Scoville’s, but we’ve been wanting to check it out ever since Trolley Wing Company closed. I placed our order online with a scheduled pickup time on my way home from work, and everything was ready exactly when promised. The online ordering process was simple, convenient, and easy to use.

We ordered both bone-in and boneless wings along with the fried pickles. I accidentally selected “extra crispy” for my boneless wings, and I wouldn’t recommend doing that—they ended up a little overdone. That was 100% my mistake, not the restaurant’s. They were probably wondering why anyone would select that for the boneless option.

The wings were packed with flavor and generously coated in sauce. The fried pickles were also delicious. They came with a habanero ranch that was well made, but as someone with a pretty low spice tolerance, it was a little too spicy for me.

The service was excellent when I picked up my order. The staff was friendly, and there were several regulars chatting and enjoying themselves. It created a welcoming, neighborhood atmosphere that made the place feel inviting.

We’ll definitely be back. Since we usually have our young child with us, takeout will probably continue to be our go-to option, but based on our first experience, we’re already looking forward to trying more of the menu.“

“Big Willies is way more than your average sports bar. I ordered the Bacon Mashed Up Burger with a side of onion rings, and both were excellent. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, the onion rings were crispy, and the atmosphere was perfect for watching a game. Friendly staff, good food, and I'll try the wings next time.“

“I was flabbergasted with how delicious the food was here, we stayed at the holiday in express passing through S.L.C. I went down stairs and gave the restaurant a try with some friends and was absolutely blown away by the quality, and presentation of the dishes everything was cooked and prepared wonderfully.

The televisions are dated, and the condition of the downstairs is also dated but I was there for the food and drinks which was awesome.“

“Came here for the first time at the recommendation of our hotel concierge. The totchoes are amazing. Next time I actually plan to order it as my entree.
The calzone is massive. Like literally an entire Pizza folded in half.
The staff was super friendly. There was no pressure from the staff to leave.
Plenty of available parking but also within walking distance of a lot.

My only complaint is the bathrooms were not very clean, but the rest of the restaurant was.

“I’ve been coming here multiple times a week for about a year now. What started out as an invite to the Wednesday night Jams turned into me bringing my best friends and family for any reason we can find to get out. I won’t mention the most quiet night because I want that to myself but karaoke on Sundays and Tuesdays is a blast. All of the food is delicious. I wish they’d make the steak and beet salad a regular option, I’ve been waiting so long for it to come back.
It’s my go-to meet up spot and my first date recommendation bc, even if the man sucks, at least I’m at A Bar Named Sue!
Management is incredible, Leroy runs a tight ship but manages a solid team and remembers the names of even the most ambiguous patrons. He’s defended me personally against a strange man once or twice and never forgets to greet people with the “high five” he’s known for. My other faves are Jacob, Micah, Ashley, Nixon, Sienna and many more.

The women’s bathroom is always clean and had never run out of soap or paper towels even once. The tables have never been sticky and the community of regulars is something out of a sitcom. Like Shameless, in the best way! ABNS on state is the elite location and I’ll argue with anyone about that.“

“My favourite server left, the current server spent most of her time speaking to a regular when it was quite and the outside of my baked chicken was overcooked, but still juicy. The oil on my onion rings weren't quite hot enough or weren't placed properly because they were stuck together.“

“I went to The Break when I was in town to see several hockey games recently. We stayed at a hotel within walking distance of The Maverik Center and The Break, and went to The Break after a game for appetizers and drinks. First off, the food and drinks we got were absolutely fantastic. They were a great price for the quality. Second, the atmosphere was wonderful. Folks were there watching the Bears vs Rams wild card game, and everyone was cheering together. After the game, it was easy to tell there was a solid group of regulars, and several people stopped to talk to us because we were in Kansas City sports gear. But most important was my experience after leaving Salt Lake City. I accidentally left an item at the table when I left, and didn’t realize it until I got home to Kansas City the next day. I called The Break, and not only had staff saved it in the lost and found, they were willing to ship it back to me! While it wasn’t a particularly expensive item, it did have sentimental value so I’m excited it wasn’t lost forever. If I’m ever back in Salt Lake City, I’ll absolutely visit The Break again.“
