I went to The Break when I was in town to see several hockey games recently. We stayed at a hotel within walking distance of The Maverik Center and The Break, and went to The Break after a game for appetizers and drinks. I will start by saying we love The Break, the food is amazing, top notch, and we go before every hockey game. I think management needs to know tonight they missed the mark in regards to service by a lot. I arrived at 5:40, by 6:00 I was in search to find out who our server was as no one had stopped by the table. 30+ minutes after my arrival at 6:15 she arrived. The food was fantastic, it was nice and clean and the atmosphere was great!
However I nearly walked out after the server that 'claimed' our table basically abandoned us until others stepped up to help. I will be going back and cash tipping those ones if I see them again, but man it was terrible. I'm more than fine with a wait, but we got walked past 5 times in a row with zero interaction-and it was too loud to tell and be heard. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff!
