It's a good place to go if you live nearby and don't want to go down to SLC for a dancing/party club. They charge 5 to 10 dollars at the door in cash so keep that in mind.

As far as Unspoken” goes it used to be a chill place to have a convo and drink but now unspoken is just another alleged (same owner tho) which is unfortunate….. Alleged is pretty MID to begin with so the fact they had "a diamond in the rough" and decided to make it similar to their "club" bar is mindboggling and really has me trying to figure out what sort of strategic mindset they took with that move. Besides that, their drink menu is well overpriced and your better off going to one of the ~10+ bars within walking distance.
We've always loved our visits to Alleged and Unspoken. The rooftop atmosphere can't be beat. DJ's on a regular basis, and they're all stellar. The bar staff are always quick, courteous and happy to accommodate. Security is prompt and attentive. Lots of locals, but absolutely worth checking out if you're visiting from out of town or in the area for one of the Twilight shows.

I’m so disappointed by recent events involving the owner. Last night, friends and I visited Unspoken (same ownership, but not on Google so I’m left to leave a review of Alleged). We noticed that they now have loud music and it’s completely changed the atmosphere. Our group has loved going there because it’s quiet and we can socialize and drink and actually hear each other. A few of us left honest reviews on Unspoken’s Facebook page last night only to discover that the owner has now blocked all of us from their FB page today. I know it’s hard to hear criticism, but it seems incredibly immature to me to block someone simply because they left honest feedback. His initial response on FB was that the “regulars” requested electronic music at Unspoken. Sad thing is, I would have considered multiple members of our group regulars at both establishments prior to this. We’ve given lots of business to both places over the years and have referred many people to both as well. Unfortunate way to handle business.

Leaving this here for Unspoken cause they don't have a website or anything to leave a review. Unspoken was a great place to go with a more relaxed and quiet atmosphere, it's basically just the first floor of Alleged now. If you want subpar drinks at a high price and terrible "deep house music" that requires you to scream to be heard, this is the place.I've frequented Alleged since I was able to drink, and Unspoken as of late because the vibe was nice. I've even recommended it to many, that will not continue. Have fun with your "regulars".
