Don't let the location throw you off; this is a nice little restaurant with great service, good food and average prices. Our bill for family of four (2 adults, 2 kids under 6) was $36 total, which was more than we wanted to spend, but the service was so excellent it was worth it. This restaurant also offers hand made jewelry as well as other gift items. Worth trying if you are in the area.
Passing through Ogden; found this place at the east end of Historic 25th Street. Our smiling server recommended the Molcajete. It came out bubbling in the hot stone molcajete, full of shrimp, with logs of Mexican cheese in a thick nopal (cactus pad) gravy, served with house-made fresh corn tortillas and a side of refried beans & rice. This place is always a win! It's just like home cooked food. It's about as authentic as it gets. Also they don't smother everything in cheddar cheese like the Americanized Mexican restaurants, they actually keep it authentic. It's definitely worth a try!
